- Kenya and Tanzania are Countries in East Africa both making major advancements in terms of Mega Construction projects.
While Kenya is regarded as the Most Developed Country in the East African Region, Tanzania is the Country to watch in the near future. The Country is making Huge Advancements towards infrastructural projects that are changing both the Physical and economic Outlook of the Country. In today's video, we are comparing some of the Mega Infrastructural Projects in Kenya and Tanzania.

Tanzania 🇹🇿 is doing an amazing job. In 10 years, we will not be competing with Tanzania. They will be far ahead. Even most of their towns are properly planned. We have built so many tarmac roads in Kenya 🇰🇪, but all of them are of poor quality. Tanzania will soon have the longest road network in Africa. Kenya has a lot to learn from Tanzania in matters governance. Tanzania is blessed naturally and they are waking up in using the natural resources. Kenya's biggest advantage over Tanzania was human capital but even human capital is now messed up. No employment and university education is too expensive for the ordinary person.
I agree with you. We Kenyans must do something. The country is on a downward spiral.
But still in 10 yrs Kenya will still be developing and they will never ever overtake kenya ppl started saying that long time ago and since it has never overtake kenya at all

I think both countries are doing great, but one thing we need to consider is the cost of these projects. During Magufuli's era, most of the projects were implemented with lower costs than ever b4, which I think even now most of the coming projects are following the same path (cost effectiveness). Kenya, on the other hand, they have comparative advantage in human capital, which is good for attracting foreign investment and building a thriving knowledge economy.

GDP are merely numbers on papers...it is a quntitative measure of economic growth....thats why always does not reflect the reality on the ground. Most of people do not understand the difference between economic growth/quantitative measures (GDP) vs Economic development/qualitative measure (living standard of the people)
