125 CC SUPER SPLENDOR at SELA | CRASHED TWICE on SNOW | SOLO RIDE to 13,700 ft

- SOLO BIKE RIDE to ARUNACHAL PREADESH on SUPER SPLENDOR BS6
Rode the SUPER SPLENDOR BS6 over SNOW and SLUSH to reach SELA PASS. CRASHED the MOTORCYCLE while ascending. I started off from BOMDILA in the morning, and finally made it to SELA PASS after covering a distance of 103 kms. The last patch of the road was full of SNOW, which made it very tricky. After spending some time at SELA PASS, I departed back for BOMDILA. On the way back, I crashed again, but got up with a higher morale and accomplished this epic SOLO RIDE !

Is it confidence inspiring with drum brakes at both ends ? In my area super splendor with disk brake is not available because no one buys that
Surprisingly, the drum brakes work quite well. Till date, I never felt the lack of bite. They work pretty well I must say,.. quite confidence inspiring.

Brother,mujhe class viii se bike chala aata tha.. Lekin tab mere pass license nahi tha, isliye mai kabhi ride par nahi jata tha.. ghar ke ass pass hi chalata tha. Jab mera age 18 hua, maine license ke liye apply kiya... almost 19 years of age se maine proper riding start kiya. Abhi mera age hai 22..toh ap bol sakte ho ki bike sikhne ke almost 3-4 years ke baad mai is tarah ke long rides pe ja raha hu..

I want to restart my bike passion after about 20 years. Now at 52, I m around 100kg and will be travelling solo. Done almost all India (except north east) in 4w and have done lot 2wlong rides 20years back.
Considering my age, weight, and your experience with both vehicles super splendor and 200T, which one will be more suitable to me ? I will be doing two or three long rides(more than 4days) pwr year and other use of vehicle will be 20km per day in city only.
Based on your experience with both vehicles pl advice. I m inclined for super splendor, however if u happen to advice me for 200T, shall I wait for 200T 4valve which is supposed to come anytime now.

Hats off to your riding spirit, sir. Much appreciated. Even I am 102 kgs at present. i would have recommended the Xpulse 200t, but I have had very bad experience owning it. That's why I would say super splendor. It can easily carry you , as I roo weigh the same. However , take a test ride of both the bikes back to back on the same day.. that will help a lot.. you can also consider Honda unicorn. Lots of Happy miles to you, sir.

super splendor ya shine.. both 125cc..
Both are equally good. Since I have been riding the super splendor, i can certainly say that it's a very comfortable and reliable motorcycle. Took it to high altitudes as well. Performed like a beast and most importantly, very very low in maintenance. Also, the Honda shine is equally good. It's totally your choice now brother.
@@TheGearedTales Sincere Thanks, I will conclude after taking all Test rides on single day. Really dont know how and why, atleast in Mumbai, hero is not pushing super splendor at all, even if you yourself walkin in showroom, they are least interestrd to sell super splendor and TD is also not available easily at all. All swiggy, zomato, amazon , i.e. all delivery guys one can see on Shine only. As of today, in mumbai around if you see 100 bikes of 100-125cc, you will end up having look of min 80 or more are Shine.
1. But heard that shine spare parts by honda are relatively more costly than that of hero, general perception.
2. Its surprise that both super splendor and shine, we get do NOT get luggage carrier in after market which similar is available in 100/110cc bikes.
Any idea, anyone can reply, whats the technical reason (I believe aomething will be there) that particularly for these 125 cc bikes backside luggage carriers do not there not in after market also. Really puzzled.
