Georgie Hogman thanks george m8
Where do you keep track of what you have done? Is there a forum where you have shared this info?
galohe hi basically what i do to audio equipment is remove mediocre parts . and relpace them then build much better power supplies
so how do you build a better power supply? or is there a good aftermarket one
galohe the power supplies that come with the pre is a rubbish plug in the wall switch mode.i use a large toroidal transformer & schottckty diodes.also decoupling and noise reduction after market power supplies can cost £250 i can build one for £120
that's fantastic. i just wish i had the skills to build one. the power is 12v ac or dc? the power adapter didn't specify.
galohe 12 volts ac for the phono stage 12v dc for most dacs except the Cambridge audio dacmagic
