On January 5th 2019 I lost my best friend to the hardest cancer out there. The rarest of all. My father(my daddy) he was the greatest guy of all time. His favorite movie was beauty and the beast. He could sing every some and say every line in the movie.. this song is the song I picked for the funeral slideshow for him because it was his favorite and he would sing it at least 4 times a week while he danced with me. I love you daddy!! Have a great time in Heaven with you dad and brothers and I will see u soon!! I love you and miss you like crazy!! I wish I could see you once more!! RIP dad

I sang this recently in choir. I am a great Disney-Fan and really fell in love with the tune. I did not know it (as I have not seen the movie) and so i searched it on youtube. The great Celine Dione sings the official version. But I disliked it. She is a great singer and I respect her very much, but this song is made for Belle. I imagine a very pure and maybe innocent voice. And Celine has none of that. So I searched for covers that I liked better than Celine's version. There are a few good ones. And then I found you Sigrid. This and only this version does the song justice. This was a marvellous rendition. And so I found out, that you are norwegian and I liked your rendition even better because of that....just kidding. Jeg er født i Norge, men er tysk nå. Det var en veldig fint og rørende version.
