I recently got my whole setup from HermanMiller from chair to desk and even monitor stand to minimize clutter on my desk! Its still an on going project to come close to finalizing my setup but watching your video was not only satisfying but inspiring as well! I appreciate all the details you put in your content man, always excited for your videos.
I love your design so much, and I feel totally right after seeing your interior and desk design. That's very normal when you said you took 9 months to just relocate and reset up everything again and again until you reach final design. I also do the same with my PC set up and Desk set up to find the right position of all stuff that I have. Currently, I still couldn't satisfied with my room and desk design and still keep moving stuffs around again and again.
Anyway, there are a lots of good ideas that I can take out from your desk and room presentation. Thank you so much for sharing

The cable management is so clean sir!!!
Great setup! From a long time desk installer, cable management is the hardest part but some of the best value for work performed. Get away from zip ties, velcro is not much more expensive but has much better flexibility.
I like the general setup. Not minimal but not overdone too. Shelves and mats are great ideas. Good luck on your work, keep grinding, man.
You really nailed this video. Quality information, awesome videography with the slider and lighting, clear info with a great detail level, concise, and my favorite part is the core of it: A tried and true setup that has been tested over many months, with lots of trial and error before that.
The mats, shelf, monitor arm, lights, and acknowledgement of aesthetics and how that contributes to a productive and healthy work environment. Love this man! Thank you! This is the first of your videos I've seen and I'm planning to check out some more.

Love the content! I am changing careers to go from 100% drive to work to 100% WFH. Have a 12ft X 11ft clean slate room to build out as my home office and am loving the office tours I'm finding on CZcams! My main hang-up right now is deciding if I want to build the desk against a wall, or to have it face into the room. My longest wall is dominated by a window, the entry door is on the opposite wall, and I don't want my screens visible from the door, so those are my initial setup challenges.
ah I know what you mean about that challenge. Thats why moving your setup around to try out which spot works best is really helpful :) I find that the lighting by the windows is usually the best feeling for work and I gravitate towards that area

Sweet set up! You should totally switch out those wheels on your chair for roller blade wheels. I did that on my office chair at home and I can never go back. So much better on the carpet. GAME CHANGER!!

I like it.
One thing i would do, that i think would greatly improve the look, would be to paint the wall behind the sound panels a flat black, so you don't see the white gaps between the panels, and when you hang them use a level or a strait edge so they line up level and plumb. If you don't want/can't paint the wall, just hang a black sheet/fabric behind the sound panels.

@@MikeWat Funny thing is the same day I watched your video, I went over to my same buddy I told you about that has like 10 Aeron chairs and grabbed a desk he had sitting around to swap out from another desk I have in my house. (I have 3 offices in my house but only one of me but that's another story for another day, okay I lied, technically 4 😒). It's a cool desk but mainly I grabbed it because it's a large flat slab and I can use the top whenever I find a motorized standing desk frame I like. I really wish he had a Steelcase Leap V2 chair in red instead of those damn Aerons.
