The aesthetic of this game is what truly fascinates me. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. I also absolutely loved the gnarly concept art for Dota 2, which unfortunately they toned down for more mass appeal. This game brings back some of that charm. The abilities I'm not particularly impressed by so far, a lot of characters feel a bit clunky.
Abrams- demon medic Bebop- engineer upgrades (idk if its the same voice actor of demoman/heavy cause he looks like it) Dynamo- fusion of engineer and medic Grey talon- one of Demoman family after learning with sniper Haze- Scout and Spy fusion. Maybe Scout daughter Infernus- the next demoman as pyro Ivy- One of Merasmus or Saxton hale pet Kelvin- Heavy or Soldier son who is disciple of Engineer (also looks like the same voice actor of engineer) Lady geist- Maybe Merasmus daughter Lash- Maybe medic or Saxton Hale cousin McGinis- Fusion of Engineer and Heavy. Engineer daughter Mo & Krill- Soldier pet Paradox- Timelord entity Pocket- Scout and Spy lost family who wents to hogwarts using the same old intel briefcase Seven- The next soldier Vindica- Sniper niece Warden- Soldier cousin or grandson but smarter. Learned with Spy family to not have the same mistake as Soldier Wraith- Crazy sniper who gamble Yamato- Vergil weapon when it becomes a person (so far i only noticed the only hero who speak another language) Thats how i see in each hero in my point of view. When the game updates and bring more lore i may get it right but also wrong but you know it takes place in valve universe

Kind-of agree with you. It's the burden of competitive symmetry. Battlerite had the same problem: all characters were slight permutations of already existing ones.
The game looks promising I like that TF2 style, but omg the voice acting, and the voice lines are terrible! I hope they will improve it, coz its sounds like some sort of royalty free sh1tty sound.
This game looks so fucking generic, all the characters could be called "Fire Guy", "ice Guy", "Sniper Lady" etc. Just 0 personality, very stiff animations, boring sound effects.
Nah, they 100% wanted this game to get out before the official announcement, they know how generic this game is so they're just preparing us for disappointment.

if played it, its crazy how good the game feels and plays in a pre pre pre pre alpha you just need to see how an actual game plays like
League of Legends actually has a skinline which is based on a whole "1920s but with demons" occult-noire theme

Bebop's VA is JB Blanc (the voice of Jungle Inferno Saxton Hale), not Gary Schwartz (the VA of Demo and Heavy).
