This type of budget is so amazing. Love your tutorial.
For those who are going to try this budget system, I think it's great. But do not just walk around with all your cash all the time. I decide to get 3 different types of envelopes. I will then just walk with the relevant envelopes such as (Grocery, beauty, clothes) depending on what I am going to buy.
I am also going to invest in a Laminator because it took me days reviewing different envelopes on Amazon and Etsy. I saw someone created the envelopes but instead of the laminator they used a large shipping tape. Either one I choose. I want to be able to change my mind and do some crafts with the kids.
Back to previous point......llol. I lose things and so I would absolutely hate to lose all my money. I lose my card I can jump on my phone and cancel. I lose a bag or wallet of cash......I weeep.
This is a great idea. But you could’ve made 2 envelopes out of each paper. Wouldn’t have “wasted” so much paper.

What happens when you go to close the wallet once the envelopes are stuffed? It doesn't appear that it would close.
You wouldn't be able to hold a TON of bills in there, but each envelope could hold 10 bills on its own. This is pretty perfect for someone who doesn't carry a TON of cash on a daily basis, like me. I carry 3 bills each in two of my envelopes, and 2 bills in another. When I get change that could increase, but I still doubt it would have a difficult time closing unless I really stuffed it with a ton of bills.

Hey everyone! Quick question! Does anyone have any suggestions on where to buy single sided card stock packs? A lot of the packs I am looking at have double sided prints, instead of the white back.

Maricel Mongcupa I believe they’re called a paper cutter? Mine was a Christmas gift and was purchased from Costco but they sell them at craft stores too or amazon.

Just start. I am about to with no steady work. I just bought a few things and I am going to start where I am .....so I can manage the little I do have right now so I can be disciplined when I get back into working full time.

how much was your wallet?
I don't think it was more than $10 for the wallet and the matching passport holder. It was in the travel section of Marshalls

What’s your occupation?
I don't like that because it would be really easy to lose or misplace and have trouble finding. Then everything is gone. I have never lost anything like that, but I would worry about it.
susan proctor These envelopes are for those who are comfortable or who are already using this budgeting method. It doesn’t work for everyone, especially those who don’t feel comfortable using and carrying around cash, which is totally understandable. Although, for those who are this is a fun way to keep things organized. There are thousands of people who use this method effectively and haven’t lost their money :)
