Another interpretation of “politics” could be that not all decisions in Indian cricket are made with the health of the team in mind. Decisions are made for marketing, decisions are made to appease certain powerful individuals. In other words, a coach may have to navigate opposing forces that may lead to compromising on their vision of what is good for Indian cricket.
Without the presence of politics, Rahul would have been out of the Indian team long back 😅
I think the biggest upset K L Rahul could have is the inclusion of Pant. This is simple. This is the only batsmen-wicket-keeper position that left him out of world cup team. Inclusion of Pant may not have gone well with him, that too him just recovering from his accident and included without any much practice matches. But Pant is a deserving match winner any day
Well most of the Indian coaches didn't make prominent goals after coming to Indian, i do believe that bcci's politics played important role in India not winning world cup. I believe dhoni as a leader had firm hold over bcci when selecting players, whereas after dhoni no captain had a firm hold over bcci

Gambhir is the best option not because of The way he helped Kkr to reached finals but his tenure as a captain of Kkr his decision making and also his aggressive approach toward game would surely help India and most importantly in knockout games

Split coaching happens mainly because they dont find right coach for job. As we can see Boucher looked great as TEST coach but as Mumbai Indians coach , he is terrible. I dont know why he still have the job. He dont have skills for T20 or ODI coach.

Man indian team has super stars with super ego. None would want to deal with them. Just for this money and getting criticism and blame at same time .
