Christmas is the happiest time of the year for us. The one thing we looked forward all of this year was to be safe and healthy with family and we are grateful that we can all be together and sing songs of praise and joy at Christmas. And share these songs, hymns and carols with you this season from our home. Our parents join in the fun too.
We grew up surrounded by music and Christmas music is something we enjoy the most. This year, throughout the Pandemic, we planned to do something special for Christmas and yet time seems to have just flown by and it is almost Christmas and here we are reminiscing the happy times and singing carols just like the other years but without friends around as we are all being careful to social distance.
Homes lit up, scent of bakes fill the house and remembering family and loved ones even if we can’t visit and make merry like other years. But we celebrate the birth of our saviour all the same. We remember you all in prayers and in song and hope you do the same for all your loved ones. This is a glimpse into our Christmas Celebrations in Kohima. Lots of reminiscing, carol singing and yummy homemade food. Grateful to have everyone home for Christmas in a year that has changed all our lives. We all have different circumstances but we hope you have love, warmth, food and joy in your homes and hearts.
