Thank you for these videos! You seem like such a cool person to be friends with! I’m hoping to be a language assistant in Spain next year and if I met someone like you, I know I would have the best time! Again, thank you for posting these videos ☺️

Amazing!!! Honestly, it's been a struggle finding friends during the pandemic 😅 hopefully, when you go, restrictions will be lighter, and making friends will be safer and easier! Do you know whereabouts you're placed yet?

@@aimeeweekestravels I'll know before the end of April!! I can't wait to find out :) I hope the restrictions will be lighter too ... I'm sure living in Spain is fun either way but I can see how the restrictions would make things challenging

    Very useful video 😁!
Did you speak spanish or english to random people? (like in the gym for example)

    • @aimeeweekestravels

Definitely Spanish! Around the world, English speakers have a bad reputation for speaking English to people thinking that everyone speaks English so it's really appreciated when you speak their own language. Even if you don't know much of the language the effort of trying is really appreciated!

I’m currently an aux in Galicia and I’ve deffo made friends but I’m so stressed that I haven’t actually made enough SPANISH friends ughhhhhhhh

I relate to this so much!! It’s super hard to make friends with locals organically (or at least something I’m yet to discover!) I would say this though - my friend has lived in Spain for 3 years and only in her third year did she make really good friends with Spanish people who were her roommates
