Behind this wall of PR controlled statements that Lewis served us for so many years, he is a guy who can have a poisonous tongue. I never thought him and Russell had a good relationship, there has always been tension between them since their first season together. I remember at the end of 2022 when George finished above him in one of the last races, Hamilton was saying George doesn't know how to setup his car and only finished above him by luck 😂

I don't think those were the exact words as i remember.
He kind of alluded to GR being lucky but I don't think he said he didn't know how to setup his car.
Overall, i don't see anything wrong with saying that but i know the anti-lewis band will read meanings and see patterns even where they don't exist.
In Lewis shoes, would i have said that? Nope. But do you know what goes on behind the scenes, No you don't. I can only imagine GR behind the scenes with his on track antics so i wouldn't be as fast as to paint GR an angel.
In the end, it is F1, a cutthroat sport and you are right Lewis needs to let his racing do the talking for him really unless he is being sabotaged by the team.

ON THE MARK!!! Keep it up Straight Shooter! I am a 63yr old Italo-Canadian F1 fanatic, that has watched every race since 1963. As a "Tifoso", in the past years, I was very critical of a young Lewis Hamilton when he made mistakes. But I always saw his potential, which he achieved in his Glory Era. Everything you stated about Merc's car is 100% Accurate and Unvarnished, And making the "Senna Point", was Perfectly Brilliant! BROVO!!! Why would any Grown Man(Ya, he's not the young lad anymore, and journalists need to be more respectful to that point) Age is not an issue here, In Boils down to Personal Motivation, and what His Life is Worth to him). If MERC couldn't be bothered to listen to Lewis for 3 seasons about the Zero Pod Concept, and continued to ignore him as they Flounder. The Team and Toto in particular stripped Lewis of his CONFIDENCE in the TEAM & CAR! And now that it's OBVIOUS that Merc are Lost in the Woods with their chassis, Why would Lewis try to drive the wheels off of an UNSTABLE CHASSIS who''s Aero can just Vanish in traffic at high speeds. To think that a talented driver can just OVERRIDE this Glitched FLAWED Design, is a Complete Fool who never strapped their ass to a chassis themselves... This is Talking out of their Asses. As long as Ferrari have their shit together Next Season, as it appears they have now, Lewis will not Struggle. And Alonso has proven that it's what is in your Heart, and that you are still interested and Desire Chasing Speed... I expect Sir Lewis will do Quite Nicely. My only personal issue for next season it sticking with Leclerc, since it has become obvious, that He has some minor confidence issues and doubts of himself. And IF I were making choices in Maranello, Leclerc & Sainz should be fighting for the other seat. Especially since it is quite obvious that Sainz is in Giant Killer Mode these days. I have nothing against Leclerc per say, He's Brilliantly Fast, but has Tendencies for Unfocused, Sloppy Driving, which is Problematic... And the Ferrari Team of the previous 3 seasons had let him down, far more than he has. So Ferrari still owe him something.... But Sainz seems to be "LOCKED IN" to Hyper Focus Mode! I say if by the 6th race, Sainz is leading in the points, Ferrari has to Switch Feet and give Sainz No1 Status. Ferrari can afford to pay out Leclerc's 5 year contract and then pay him to drive Ferrari's Hypercar for a season or two, And\Or, put him in a Ferrari Customer car next to Oly Bearman, with more Aero Aids so they can have 4 or more Ferrari powered cars in the top 8. P.S.>>> I can't wait to see Lewis driving in the Red Myst next Season... I wonder if MERC will still be a Top 10 Team at the Rate they are TUMBLING Out of Control... Ferrari, changing Team Principle last season did the Charm for them. Maybe it's time for Toto to Toodle Off! Just Saying... He's keeps on Verbally Embarrassing himself like a Dough Head! P.S.>>> Keep it coming young man! I love your level Headed and unadulterated view of F1.! P.S.S.>>>Oh Ya! Next Year, You Become a TIFOSO Too!!! LOL!!! Welcome Aboard!!!

It is guaranteed that Hamilton has not said any of this. It must have been internet manufactured.
However, he is currently an angry racing driver.
Toto Wolff once said: "An angry Lewis is a fast Lewis."
Nico Rosberg also said, "Never count Lewis out."
Injure or annoy him and he will come back at you with bazooka to the knife fight!
Max Verstappen landed his car on-top-of Hamilton's head to take him out and Lewis came back in the infamous 2021 Abu Dhabi to wipe the floor with all the competition, until FiA Michael Masi decided to blatently rob him of victory and hand it on a plate to the Netherlander.

I think it is just the opposite: Silverstone and Verstappen landed with 51G in the wall. He did not complain hard drriving, but the way Hamilton went to party while Verstappen was in the hospital. But that did not impress Verstappen, even not the rocket motor. He never gave up. Even Abu Dhabi first round when Hamilton had a big advantage by leaving the track and gaining an advantage. That was a mistake, in 2022 he did the simular against Saind, but than Hamikton had to give back his position. In 2021 Verstappen was leading in more than 50% of all rounds during the season. That was the sign of a new champion.

They were tied going into Abu Dhabi, so what you said makes no sense. Max needed every cheat, favour, and miracle to steal that win. He needed new soft tyres, he needed a miracle crash, he needed a free pitstop, he needed no lapped cars between him and Lewis, and he needed a corruptable race director who took the side of Christain Horner's incessant bickering and manipulating over the radio.
Lewis didn't need any of that. All he needed was the FIA sticking to their own rules and being consistent with them. Even today the FIA can't seem to do that.
And that nonsense about the drivers ageeeibgcabout a racing end is hogwash because the drivers have no say in that regard. They race based on the set rules and protocols and procedures that are written down in the Sporting Code set by the FIA that all the teams have to sign unto and agree to follow. Verbal declarations made off the cuff are irrelevant and have no merit.

Let’s not forget that. To operate at that level for so long means a lot of dedication. People should stop talking about Lewis retirement when they never talk about Alonso, never about Vettel or Raikonen. Let the drivers go when they want to.

And for George to lie and say the W15 is Lewis' car is blatantly false because if Mercedes had designed the car to Lewis, he and George wouldn''t be getting passed by McLarens, Astons, Ferraris, and those damned Red Bulls so easily. They would be getting podiums at least.
Andbhow can you brag about getting 3rd on the starting grid but then fall away and slip back behind those teams I mentioned above? How, if George is doing "such a great job"? George even told a fat lie and got Alonso pinged for doung nothing all while he was fiddling with his buttons and not focusing on whats in front of him.

Since James Allison came back at Merc at Monaco 2023 everyone admitted, including Lewis himself, that they started listening to his feedback and he felt more comfortable while the results have been worse and worse. Still the W13 from 2022 is the most successful car Mercedes has built during this ground effect era with 1 win and a lot of podiums. Same car that Lewis kept complaining about and he was saying they built without listening to him at all. This year they even moved the seat towards the back of the car which was something he asked publicly.

The car can't take high speed corners without the back washing out in a snap oversteer. Thats not Lewis' type of car. He needs one that can hold its grip while laying down the throttle. This car cannot. Moving the seat back is not the magic cure. The suspension is too stiff, the car eats up its tyres, and the P/U is nowhere near the Honda or the Ferrari. That's not Lewis' wishes. That's a failure of Mercedes to understand ground effects and set ups.
You can say all you want, but if the car was good, they BOTH would be getting better results.

DELIVERED championships to them???? If Mercedes were the third or even second fastest car, then I would agree that he was delivering Mercedes the Championships, but Mercedes gave lewis the dominant car and Mercedes are the ones that Delivered HIM those championships. Mercedes delivered 6 championships to lewis. They usually won the constructors by 200-300 points so ANY other driver in that car would have gotten enough points for Merc to get constructors. lewis was key in 2018 and 2021 for merc to win constructors. So he delivered 2 championships to Merc and they delivered 6 to him. Yall really need to stop over exaggerating and over hyping lewis like he is a Savior for Merc.

Surely, Hamilton, for all the world to see, has mentally checked out already but this doesn't give him the right to disgrace his employer the way he does now. And for Boy George and his pipedream about Mercedes building team and car around him? He may have another thing coming... I firmly believe, he doesn't play much of a role in Mercedes plans for the future.

I can appreciate his frustration. After 7 championships Mercedes only offered him 1 year contract to keep space for Russell/Antellelli. Then they give him a lousy car. Soon he will be cut out of the loop at Mercedes. Next year is going to interesting - Charles is going to try to beat him every week and Charles is likely better than Russell. People retire because they get tired of the job (not age) and he is there. Will it improve next year - 50/50. And if he is down mentally he will be eaten alive by Charles and the Italian fans.

Alonso and Lewis differ on one thing- equipment. Lewis took a route that was to easy for him. But we have at least seen how much the car has a massive role to be a title contender. ( sorry for the god thing) but it’s almost like people don’t understand that the car makes a difference. Lewis is one of the best, but with that car I don’t think it’s is a challenge for Max. So why people wonder why max besides being incredibly good- can any have a chance at him right now. ?
