If you want to find objectives to visit in Romania, please search online in Romanian, not in any other language as you won't find all that much in other languages. You can search for - obiective turistice in (insert city name here) or instead of city name use Judetul whatever (judetul means the county). And better to search this way than to ask Romanian friends as they won't know much plus they'll tend to recommend what is popular with foreign tourists, not with Romanian tourists. And this way you can easily find most things you might want to visit but not what's on the mountains, for that you need other tools. Oh and Bucharest is not in a county but it's in Ilfov so to find things near Bucharest, you can search for that.
