Mam can you make a video on the same thepla receipe but instead of using brown sugar using JAGGERY. This has very different taste and this is the Orignal Thepla that were made by our grandmothers. Now people are using brown sugar for quick fix but jaggery is more healthier than sugar. Good luck be blessed.😂😂
Jambo! I follow exactly your recipe but 1 cup oil was too much! Can I put more flour in the dough to be able to still make them and fry? I am so upset. Thanks
YAM! I was born in E.Africa, It is a long time being in other countries and had forgotten this way of making it by my mother. Asante for it. Greetings from another Gillani from far way. 🌷🌷🌷🌷

I normally add desiccated coconut or bind the dough with coconut milk and evaporated milk 50/50) that makes them truly East African!
Yummy😋💕
Ya Ali Mad: looks yummy. I add 4 Beaten eggs, gur, b.powder, milk. Tell me if yrs are soft. Mine becomes crispy. I like soft. Zully
In the video description you have mentioned baking soda as opposed to baking powder. You need to correct that.
Baking soda and baking powder is two different ingredients so which one
