- The Midwest Classic is a local race held near the campus of Marian University and always a good Spring tune-up race. For me, it was the only opportunity to race my new State Undefeated road bike before Pro Road Nats so I figured it would be a good idea to see how that thing rips. And it rips pretty good.

Great vid! Would love to see a bike check.
Nice to see some race footage where someone else also has a high HR. My threshhold HR is in the 180s so 180-190s in races is nothing unususal, but most footage you see people have much lower HRs.

gravel being an privateer sport is what makes it so attractive to the masses. Road racing suffers in participation when large teams go against solo/duo riders. Limit team sizes to 3-4 riders, see the sport grow.

If you were marked, making it across to the break would have just killed the break. No one would work with you, so it was either going to be a field sprint, or a break without you in it.
So State rebranded a Chinese bike to sell at a markup to American customers? I’ll stick with the aluminum rim brake bike.
