    Rich Williams said in an interview something like If you don't want to come see us , don't. IMHO still a great band. CARRY ON !

    Newest member Joe Deninzon rippin' violin solo at 20:40-21:03 !! Just perfect, and with his own touch. Kansas can pick 'em, right?

      The band commented that it would be performing tracks from the vault on the 50th anniversary tour. The incredible The Pinnacle was one!

    I was there, some drunks sitting behind us ruined the whole concert. The only time I enjoyed it was when they went to the bathroom. I understand that it's a rock concert, but tickets were $125 each. When I was a kid we were rowdy but tickets were under $20.

    Which original members are left? This sounds like a copy band.

    • @robertoel8796
      @robertoel8796  Před rokem +4

      Original members Rich Williams, the guitarist on the left, and drummer Phil Ehart (who first appears at 17:42) have done a fantastic job of keeping the Kansas brand vibrant and relevant - and filling auditoriums - with veteran, seasoned talent, after 50 years. This iteration is no copy band.

      @@robertoel8796 when there’s only 2 original members it’s just not the same especially without Steve Walsh.
      Sorry!

      @@maeu59 Walsh's peak decade of vocals was early 70s to early 80s. The next fifteen years were severely lacking, with slight improvement for decade after that. By the time he retired from Kansas a decade ago in 2014, his pipes were shot. Although not as strong as Walsh's vocals at its prime, Ronnie Platt is a worthy successor. Walsh and the band knew that his time with Kansas had ended.
