The most insane part of this entire video is this MAD MAN flew within 3km of an SU25 and didn't catch an R60mk. What's even more crazy is he nails him with Rb24 without the 25 even going defensive beyond 1 preflair. I don't believe it.
Try to que up with some friends in the opposite team ;)

Seems like a fairly standard high tier premium player, they probably already wasted their missiles. I'm surprised they knew there was a counter measure button.
One note, only the J29D had 30mm cannons and they were mostly experimental. All the other J29's had the 20mm cannons.
Missed opportunity to say: "The J29F barrels into aerial combat in War Thunder!" or something along those lines lol
Repair cost! How ironic for gaijin to “remove” vehicles from the game by giving them insane repair
I had the pleasure of flying this thing before the Su-25 spam and proved to be one of my more capable 9.0 alongside the Super Mystere B2. It's always just enough to get the job done. And the only J29 I can use reliably

To be fair about the repair costs, most repair costs for anything in War Thunder at higher tier are completely ridiculous. Awesome review as always!
Still though, paying 20K for a J-7E and paying 20K for J-29 are two very different things

@@SergeyTaboritskiit's my favorite jet, at the start climb at about 7° and remember to stay above 450 kph to be able to dodge enemy jets, also i don't recommend headons

I know the su-25 will go up to 10.0-10.3 eventually but I hope it isn’t going to take long because I’m currently starting my swedish jet grind and I know once those undertiered aircraft goes up in br then I will have an alright time in this plane once I unlock it
It's the us jets you should worry about, like f104 at 9.3 is insane

it's as expensive, but atleast a bit cheaper as far as I can remember. The J29F is a good alternative too if you don't want to use the Lansens or the Hunter for your Rank VI

@@SergeyTaboritski they're both ridiculous, the J29A is 19k and the J29F is 20k
I think the F is in a worse spot though as it regularly or possibly mostly faces 9.7 and 10.0 premiums with all aspect missiles while lacking any flares at all.

Good guns, lots of ammo, good roll rate, good speed, but terrible pitch performance, it doesn't turn at all, These Tunnans are bricks with wings.
... good speed? like half of the planes you actually face are faster than you
which makes sence considering gaijin made the elevator move about 1 degree at max pull oh and they didnt add the leading edge slats on the A and B model
With the weird cannon rof and how much ammo you get I can't help but wonder if the guns fired staggered it might honestly be more effective
Love the plane, hate the repair cost.
While I would agree with most of what is said there are some things that shined through negatively in my experience with this thing.
While yes the agility is generely good the rudder and elevators have shown to be a little too unstable and wobbly in turns often throwing my aim of.
Next, while the afterburner is a nice upgrade from the previous maschien and helps keeping the speed up while maneuvering, it's acceleration felt very underwhelming as an upgrade compared to its predecessor.

Been using the shorter one for a while, checking the stats to see if it changes retention.
I always disliked this plane. Something about the way it has the high mounted wings and low mounted guns makes it really awkward to aim if you need to roll the plane. God forbid you get a sabre doing cancer rolls in front of this thing. Also just 9.0 is kinda a suffer BR for a lot of planes in general

uh...rockets are for ground....
The rockets you use in game are anti-air rockets. The F could carry the ground attack rockets, can´t remember if it does in game. But itis the same as the B and D have..
The diamond on the back is for an exercise so should kinda be out of place.. it is a recognition as well as to make it easier to see during dog fighting to avoid collisions..
It is good but also over tiered.. As fuck.
