This is a great looking engine! Love the attention to detail. I'm a O scaler who decided to try N scale, and Lombard Hobbies did not disappoint. The guys there even gave me a tutorial on analog, dc,and dcc systems. Chicagoland Toys and Hobbies which is much closer gets a thumbs up 👍 as well.

Beautiful model... Back in the "blue-box" days, if it wasn't brass, we knew we were going to be buying a lot of details, bending wire, etc. The traction motor detail is a nice touch and your weathering brought out a lot of nice details, as well. Always enjoy the presentation on the layout!

Nice Model and a great review. My only complaint is the ride height still looks a little too high. I've taken numerous pictures of these and there shouldn't be an air gap between the top of the truck side frames and the bottom of the frame. It appears to only be visible at certain angles on the model.
Not a deal breaker for me. We are model railroaders and this is something that can be fixed.

    • @hotrail8295
