What are the differences between PB2S and PB2SL ?
the L supports larger batteries like 21700 cells with the cover on. the normal PB2S also supports 21700 cells but with the cover off.

please tell me if the XTAR bank needs batteries with or without protection?
The PB2SL can charge your 18650 and 21700 batteries, no matter it has protection or not.
