Everyone, please check out this video I made, its a crazy new idea I have for us working together to make our own story. I think it could be super fun if you guys got involved, it doesn't take that much effort from you and it seems the algorithm really is not pushing it out.

I really enjoy Vader's characterization here, you're really paying attention to how he acts and thinks. He's a difficult character to write, so kudos for getting this right.
The scene in which he begs Obi-Wan to help him save his mother is very touching; Vader's dialogue feels as if it starts off as a performance but slowly fades away to reveal genuine desperation.
Need to keep this going and at some point anakin tells obi wan what's going on and help him come to terms with it then finish the story to see anakin at full power with balance

@Randomthew thought a good spot would be after the battle with dooku on geonosis anakin show some of his powers making obi wan question and that's when he tells him but doesn't tell him who the sith is because obi wan needs to see how corrupt the jedi is you have great potential in you story telling

i really like this what if as it is unique and you feel as if you are actually seeing vaders journey in his new body from his perspective i do wonder what the other anakin is up to tho lmao. this what if was about vader and anakin from aotc switching bodies so anakin from aotc must of been moved to vaders body. i wonder if he would simply die due to not having enough power in the darkside to sustain his life or if palpatine would see what happened and use it to his advantage. im also curious on what palpatine and everyone else around vader (pre body switch) would react to seeing anakin from aotc in vaders suit
I love your train of thought with this!! Dont worry I haven't forgot about that and I will describe soon what he is experiencing, it will be very interesting to say the least, a very painful experience as you say since Vader is accustomed to using the dark side to endure the pain his suit causes him
I absolutely love your style of storytelling. I listen and follow a lot of what if youtubers (historical and fictional) and I often find myself zoning out with alot of their dry narration, lack of imagination and inability to depict a scene, while I enjoy yours for the sense that we understand what the characters are thinking and feeling. Instead of the ever so lazy 'Anakin knew it was fake' before moving on in the story, as if that's a minor detail when in fact it's a major one.
If you're looking for a niche to fill to find some views and likes, I believe this niche would be good.

I'm trying hard to find the balance in depicting how I think Vader actually would react in these situations, and spend the right amount of time describing the right aspects of the story, without describing in extreme detail every last aspect so we can focus on the cooler stuff
100% agree i was very much sucked into this story and able to vividly picture everything because of the narrator's ability to paint a picture (along with the choice of photos)

Bit of a slow burn, but still really like it!
Haha thanks, I agree it has been a bit of a slow burn, but I really wanted to make sure the important parts of Vader coming to terms with this new reality and his thought processes were not rushed over. Now that those are out of the way, except things to get a lot more exciting as we do more time skips over tedious details to the real juicy stuff

A very good story line. One of the best alternative Star Wars stories I have heard in a while (and I listen to several ones every day). You really should keeping running with this one and do a part 3.

If you have anakin come forward and tell obiwan what’s happened you should play ‘the immolation scene or anakins dark deeds’ or mix in more John Williams music it would add so much depth and emotion.

actually, I do not think Vader would handicap himself, there's not a member of the Council who could match a Healthy Vader in terms of raw power, even Sidious would be blindsided by this kind of power
I agree, Vader definitely is not handicapping himself, this is by far the most powerful version of Vader ever seen, and will very soon be if not already far more powerful than anyone on the council or Sidious himself. But my depiction of Vader is he desperately wants to save his mother and Padme and maintain a relationship with them so he is going to play his cards smoothly and plan things out as to not be a bull in a china shop destroying everything and risking their lives or a relationship with them in the process
@@Randomthew fair, that said, I don't think he cares about being expelled from the Jedi Order to do it, if that proves necessary, he's got the mechanical know-how to make a decent living, outside of the order, you can actually picture, him actually talking to the Jedi council like they were younglings as mockingly turning their dogma back on them "Only Sith deal in Absolutes, are you sure about that ?."
