No one can come closed to Morissette's high pitch voice, dynamics and her ooooozing stage presence. Even though this was Sheryn Regis song however, this is now Morissette's song wing an award and in Spain of one week her version garnered millions already however, Sheryn version in a span of almost one year never reached million just 80k.Most reactors and views prefers Morissette's so powerful version. Mori's combination of whistle and squeak amazes me and many reactor/viewers, let time I heard that squeak - whistle oh hers.

I think many of us would agree with your comments, Three Musketeers, about the vocals and singing styles of Morissette and Sheryn. I have also read many comments from listeners about how they felt listening to the two renditions of "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw". With Sheryn, who I think is the original writer of this song and also its original singer, with her straightforward singing, portrays a sad, accepting defeat, melancholic emotions. With Morissette, who was chosen to interpret the song for a TV drama series, she used more variations and colors in her voice, like her squeaks and growls, to portray also sadness and being hurt, but motivating and fighting towards the end. Feelings and emotions which I think suit the plot of the drama series, and which got the attention and liking of many listeners because Mori's rendition became trending and popular, so that of the five songs included in the OST, this GKNB became the most well-known and most viewed. I am still amazed at how the lyric video of this song is still raking in millions of views even after the drama series has ended. It has now more than 24 million views! The other songs of the OST are far away with 3.2 million, 1.6 million, 857K, and 794K views to date.

She didnt write it, she was only given the spotlight because of the broken marriage vow.. other than that, it is Sheryn's song. She can try to steal it, but she cant own it

There's even a video where morissette was singing when she was like a little girl and Sheryn was a teenage girl or in her 20s as a host of a singing competition where she called Morisette's name to sing on stage.. i think it was in her hometown Cebu.
