Sir David Suchet is the actor in the TV series of course and seems to BE Poirot to me. :-)
Suchet is a good actor, but those moustaches they gave him....

I do not defend the term. There is no defense. However, it was used by Christie as dialogue. It reflected on the speaker's attitude and character. Does anyone know what Agatha Christie's personal attitude toward class and race was?
Dreadful narration. Suchet on screen was terrific but his
Poirot narrators voice is simply irritating ! Get John Moffat !!
