Yes. There are some models that were just made for avant garde fashion like Linda Evangelista, Nadja Auermann, Shalom Harlow, Debra Shaw, and Erin O'Connor. They have that edge that makes them unusual but chameleonic.

I don't think Kate has done much commercial fashion other than maybe some edgy fast fashion brands like TopShop, Mango, and Zara. She has a very edgy bone structure, waif build, and not the most beautiful smile (her canines were crooked) that just don't sit too well with more commercial brands that like emphasize curves, smiles, athletic figures, such as Victoria's Secret, Sports Illustrated, Nike, Adidas, Guess, Ambercrombie & Fitch, etc.
Actually Kate Moss is 5’7 (she was 5’6 as a teenager when her modelling career started.)

Well, the heroin chic look was embodied most brilliantly in Kate who really represented any kind of look and nailed the grunge look of the period. And, like someone else said she was 5'7 with fantastic bone structure & could get the job done even so! Calvin Klein only hired women with timeless beauty e.g. Christy Turlington.
I would personally put Kate in 1 because she is not only great at the runway but she also is perfection in the editorials.

I don't think Kate was great at runway. She was decent, but not versatile. She always relied on her careful and slow pace, and she always looked a bit uneasy in the runway. But I do think that she is more iconic than Naomi in terms of print work. In that respect, she could have easily snatched Naomi's wig for the number 1 spot. But I'll give the edge to Naomi for being relevant till this day, not to mention, most models reference Naomi as their inspiration for learning how to walk in the runway. Not that Kate isn't relevant, but Naomi's relevancy transcends beyond the realm of fashion industry. And she is also one of the original supermodels. Kate came a little after.

Rosie was famous at her peak but she never really achieved a high fashion status and her career's hype kinda died down quickly, i may put Cara to a sixth at most because of her popularity but her career is extremely inconsistent and never was a couture model except for Chanel, the fact that her profile lacks so many famous brand prove how inversatile she is

Ok Naomi will always be the top from years of experience in the business and its longivity not to mention the perfection of her craft shes truly an artist but I would not ignore Erin O Conor she is also a force to be reckon with , she can be classic and can portray historical figure and old hollywood and she can be modern and current but she can be futuristic she is a chameleon in many sense even in her short black hair.

It's so sad that she died from suicide. I wished somebody could have been there for her in her darkest moments. There have been so many outpouring of love and tributes to her after her death. It sucks how the dead receive more flowers than the living. I wish she was alive to see these tributes. Who knows. Maybe that could've lifted her spirit. In my opinion, she was always underrated in terms of popularity, as it was always about Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. Yet Stella has consistently been booking shows, campaigns, covers, and editorials even in the 2000s and 2010s. She went through a divorce last year, 3 months before her passing, after 27 years of marriage. I guess the divorce might have contributed to her depression. The pandemic probably made it harder for her to reach out to friends and families, hence, she might have felt very lonely. Oh, poor soul. She always struck me as a bit of a shy and introverted, and at times sad soul. I don't know if it is because of the androgynous punk look she was known for, but there was something very beautiful about her. She always seem kind and respectful. I have never heard anyone badmouthing about Stella. All her colleagues and friends on IG described her as very kind, compassionate, professional, and a beautiful soul. I'm still in utter disbelief that she is gone. So young. So beautiful. So much left to see. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones.

The amount of VS clips in her segment proves she's not as big in high fashion as the others, so no, she's not close to #1.
She is a gorgeous girl, and among the highest paid models today, but in terms of runway appearance and campaigns, I don't think she beats the girls ahead of her. Her walk was not the best, but loved her in the Burberry campaigns. But yeah, even Lily Cole and Agyness Deyn has probably walked in more high fashion shows than Rosie.

I didn't even know Gail and Cecilia modeled consistently for that long. One British model from the 80s to 90s whom I actually found very underrated was Heather Stewart Whyte. She was very classically beautiful, and has a pretty solid print work.
