- This was a special day. We did a "soft" opening for the Inzozi Center in Gashora...a chance to see if community would respond to what we are trying to create...a Learning Community that is focused on empowering each child through academic exploration and development.

Honestly, I am just a simple girl is in the midst of a journey that I never could imagine. I just flipped on the camera so I can share a bit of my experience. 🌍

Thank you so much for what you are doing for the Rwandan children and the art, we never learned art growing up, so many with artistic gifts ends up not being able to use them due to lack of cultivating it, hold on did you say that you are doin' it for free?
Right now the programs at the center are free, my goal is to create a funding drive and resource so this project can continue being run by donations.

Well Done...are we writing our own curriculum or following the "States" .....I'm paying school fees in Uganda now😜..anyway I went to the school to see what I was paying for, I found church...NOT school😞. I fell into a speech/pep talk about how prayers were not going to fix the roads, build the infrastructure, or build this country's economy. A teacher started crying and almost made me😢...she said they're hands are tied to the old way. IM SUPER PROUD OF YOU!!!!!
As a learning center we are not tied to a curriculum as a core.

@Steven Bryant, I am trying to understand what your comment is all about.... What was this teacher crying about and when she lamented about their hands being tied to the old system, what system was she on about? Is it colonisation, religion or politics?
@@kasikwagoma6740 she was throwing her hands I the air having to teach religion rather than usable education.
