Thanks a lot for this video! It is very helpful for my homework about USA's iron ore ranges.

Some of purest iron ore is found at the underground mine in Soudan Minnesota. It is a state park now and has really terrifying elevator drop underground, and an old ore train. Very fresh air, tour guides that remember their relatives who worked there. They also house scientific experiments and the Minnesota brown bats which are endangered by white nose fungus. The bats may soon be put on the endangered species list Hope not as these bats are proficient at keeping the mosquito population. down.
It's a great place to visit in beautiful still wild Northern Minnesota. And mining is going on to this day! Thank you for this video. We love New Zealandanders!

Not all statements are true. We don't drop you into the mine. You don't ride on a old ore train. The labs are all gone. It still tho has some of the richest ore. But is the wrong kind for today's steel making technology.

This is definitely earlier than the 1920s. Turn of that century --

Any idea if the mill is South Works or Gary Works?

Shame that we replaced the trains with trucks these days.
