Hi, Darmstadt is currently the fifth costliest city in terms of housing in Germany. Costs range between 350-600 euros per month. I am living in a shared house. I will upload a detailed video about the costs involved per month soon

I Have 6.21 GPA in Mechanical Engineering and IELTS of 7.5 and currently doing German A1,A2. I was also very interested in this same course this summer but something tells that it’s going to be hard I just need reassurance that should I apply for this course or not.

Hi Aditya, just a small doubt that do all applying students have to give the test while applying or does it vary based on the profile ?
From what I have seen EU students don't have to give the exam as their credits match but almost all non EU students have to write the exam
I started learning German around 4 months ago and I’m pretty much good to give A1 Level exam. I also completed my Semester 1 recently, so do you think I can do German upto B1 level by the end of 4th year?
Yeah easily, I completed till B1 with A2 and B1 exams in about 10 months

Goethe, telc or dsd all are valid, but I think goethe is internationally recognized, certificates from academy aren't recognized mostly

Hi, my name is Sinan and I am from Turkey. I will be studying at TU Darmstadt for the next semwster as an erasmus student. I am a mechanical enginnering student. Since my german is A2/B1 level, instead of taking german taught BS courses, I want to take MS courses. According to my researches sime of them are taught in english at TUD. And i feel that i will manage to pass them since this will be my 7th semester at university and i have the sufficient prerequisities. There are courses at your department that i plan to take such as intro to FEM, advanced fluid mechanics1, aerodynamic 1, space flight mechanics, future air transportstion systems. So my question to you is this. Are this courses really thaught in English?

There should be a pdf to download and it will contain the subjects that they need and you have to fill in your Bachelor subjects and the corresponding credits and your grade

The entrance exam was for two hours and had seven subjects , you can search for tu darmstadt aerospace entrance exam and you will get the list of subjects and a sample paper as well. Focus on basics of solid mechanics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics and control engineering

I have a query. Did you apply for summer semester and went to Germany by May 19?? Coz in the website it is mentioned the start of the course is on March 15. Will they allow for delayed enrollment?? Thank you.
The course started on april 11th for me and enrolment was done online when I paid the semester contribution and provided them my health insurance data but yes they allow the students to come late due to visa delays

Bachelor course I believe is German taught, Masters course is English taught and only ielts is required for masters

Generally receiving a response from the University for admission can take more than a month after the deadline. APS also takes atleast a month I believe

Yes, you will get the list of documents at the end of your application. I believe they ask you to upload your passport during the application now.

Never send originals you have to send them notarized copies
Yeah I didn't have an interview, I applied for visa at the vfs global and they just ask basic questions like which university and course

You have to send them via courier, the list of documents and the address will be mentioned in tucan portal
