10:10 I did some research, fusion and Gotenks only existed in july 26, 1994 and this special came out in July 9th. So they couldn't have fusion in this movie because the manga chapter where they introduced it didn't exist yet.
This is similar to the slug movie where SSJ didn't exist but the concept was. So they created false SSJ which was close enough. With fusion they didn't even know what the design would look like, so imagine if they did fuse and they didn't have the fusion armor💀 or do a dance

Technically bio-brolly is a clone so he is his own character as his own character it dosnt taint the og brolly nearly as much.
It really is interesting how Bio-Broly being a pile of shit and goo, kind of also represents the state of how he was handled after each movie in the Z era. (It kind of also represents current dragon ball as well, but I dunno, there seem to be some interesting developments, like Broly being misguided and friendly at heart, and Vegeta actually feeling guilt and regret for his past actions.
Bio-Broly is one of the Worst Character Designs in Dragon Ball History, that's why this Iteration was never in any format of Dragon Ball Media like Games and Action Figures etc,
Say what you will about Broly: 2nd Coming, but it's still a true faithful Sequel to the original 1st DBZ Broly Movie, but the Bio-Broly Movie is a straight up freaking Insult to his Name and Image,
Thank god for Broly in DBS not only was made Canon, but was finally in a much better Movie that involves Goku & Vegeta being the real true Main Characters and not their annoying Sons like Goten & Trunks anymore.

Bio-Broly is far from the worst transformations that exist out there in the dragon ball franchise in my opinion at least, in fact I find his design kinda unique and different which is what they were probably going for anyways most likely, and there actually are two figurines of this version of Broly and he has actually appeared in video games such as super dragon ball heroes ultimate battle and also in dragon ball dokkan battle. But yeah he still was not great through, he could’ve been better but ah well.

Fun fact: In the Japanese Dub of the Z Broly movie Paragus explained that Broly actually sensed Goku's power when he first arrived on the trap planet/New Planet Vegeta (Specifically in the scene where they were sizing each other up and everything faded to black except for them and their auras.) and that caused his saiyan instincts to go out of control which made him see Goku as a powerful opponent he wanted to fight and kill, the crying had nothing to do with it. He says quote, "Could it be Kakarrot? Does this mean that Broly's instincts as a saiyan have been awakened by Kakarrots power, and he is starting to overcome my mind control?"
Also in the JP dub he only knows Goku's saiyan name because Vegeta said it right in front of Broly. Broly also only starts remembering Goku right when he is defeated.

Im not gonna lie, i like the design and concept of bio broly. The execution is where this "movie" failed.
If you make a part 4, then dragon ball heroes is pretty much the only option. Plus it actually did him right, making him inspire the super Broly's fight against Gogeta, although hes super saiyan 4 instead.
