Possible tornado damage in Forestville, WNY: Drone footage taken of storm damage in Forestville, NY. There have been tornado warnings across WNY. Video by Jackson Hickey
There is a concerted clean up going on right now between Eden to East Eden. Multiple structures, barns and some houses damaged and or destroyed. Gary Dr and Sauer road is bad with lots of trees down. From there to East Eden is torn up.
I was watching the WNY Stormchasers video on Facebook when they first came across this. They were trying to chase the tornado, but couldn't once they came across those trees on Straight Rd, just before T into Zahm. I think the guys running the drone are the ones that showed up a few minutes later in the FB video.
@@afenismama What I meant by "Straight-line wind damage" (SLW damage) is that the pattern of tree fells and debris scattering is consistent with SLW, not tornadic activity. Also, the property owners had better hope it's SLW, not tornadic -- casualty/damage insurance won't cover tornadoes. Insurance *will* cover SLW.
@@noopbloop5051 yeah, I saw that in the newspaper. I was really surprised. It's a shame, too. Homeowners and commercial insurance will cover straight line damage. They don't cover tornadoes, generally. Now it's all going to come out of their own pocket.

I'll never forget when the tornado hit my property in Allegany county in 2017. Look like a bomb went off
Wow
Where is this
The title says Forestville, I'm going to take a guess and say this is near Shaw and Putnam
It's at the intersection of Straight Rd and Zahm Rd, about 2.7 miles due south of the center of Forestville.
@@jamesmoconnell Straight Rd and Zahm Rd.
Looks like straight-line wind damage.
Nope tornado. I seen the photos
That’s not what they meant lol…they’re saying the wind damage FROM the tornado was damage in a straight line ❤

Looks like it's been confirmed last night as EF1 tornado damage.
