This was pure suffering back in 2022, That was the year I got to Magma Village and 2nd Sea, But when I was grinding my friend's account, This account wasn't all so hard, I just had to suffer for a while and then server-hop the boss when I got his quest.

I played through first sea with light almost all the way, and i was like man logia dodge is good. Then came magma village and the npcs had haki, at that point i was so reliant on my logia dodge that i could not grind properly for a while.

How to counter them:
Magma officer: chop is the way. And if you don't wanna use chop just use ranged attack fruits
Magma spy: you need range attacks or either fly while dealing damage to them (it's because if you're in the sky they will just fall if they teleport to you)
Magma admiral: ranged attacks and make sure to watch him carefully because the attacks deal lots of damage to beginners
Best way to motivate new players
