I like the Romero Mahogany GT the best. Thanks for showing the comparisons.
Thank you so much for doing these reviews....it's greatly appreciated by those of us on the big Tenor fence!! Great to hear the sound of each.❤️
The Romero GT is my favourite, although much cheaper than those that followed. The notes jump out, so melodic too. 🥰Love it!
Hi Alex,
Great video as usual.
My favorite is the Mahogany Romero. I really like the fullness and depth of sound it produces.
Impressed by both of the Romero's. Of course if funds were no object I'd go with the Kanilea.
As I'm sure you know, Kala Elite make a few tenor XL models but they're not very widespread. They're 19in scale, 38mm nut and with a body approaching baritone dimensions (but not quite). Wish other high-end manufacturers also made such in betweens rather than either just the large body or just the long scale
Can't help thinking that Kanile'a Super Tenor would sound better with a change of strings ;)
Liked the Millar a lot and the Kanilea.
I ordered a super tenor online by accident lol - I interpreted the word super as a synonym for "excellent" and thought I was buying an excellent tenor of regular size. Haha I should have read the fine print, but that's ok, I have large hands so it was a happy accident and I love playing it. Haven't tried a low G yet but your comment makes sense and I'll be switching the strings soon
Hell yeah man
Something about the sound of that Millar that I REALLY like. Might be going against the grain here but I'm going to stick my neck out and call that my favourite!
A customized one will be better
That Miller is gorgeous sounding.
I am gravitating towards the Romero Mahogany, it just sings in my ears but the Millar is not far behind! They both sound amazing 👏
It's easy to love both of them!
@@SouthernUkuleleStore very true!
Have you done a video on baritone ukes tuned G-C-E-A? How would suggest a uke compare to the tenors you are featuring here? (I have three baris; my favorite is a Kala with a spruce top.)
You don't seem to have the Millar in stock - are you getting this model in again?
Hi Robbie, after I posted this video I had half a dozen different customers trying to buy the Millar at the same time. We will of course be getting it again but possibly not until around April time.
Apologies
like the expensive Romero best
Millar!
Hi Alex dose anyone make a jumbo concerts.
If you are looking for jumbo in terms of neck/scale length, then I would look into Rebel Ukuleles.
Kanile'a and Rebel.
