And Rockstar even said this in one/some of their interviews, that they want you to feel like a criminal on the run so they're not adding properties right now and want to work up to heists so you don't forget that you're just a criminal on the run. Like a manager putting a sign in the break room that reads "YOU'RE ALL PEASANTS. DON'T FOR-FUCKING GET IT"

You'd think completing a mission fast and efficiently would be rewarded instead of dicking around as long as possible.
RockStar be crazy.
if the mission last from 3 minutes til 12 you're getting 0.8 gold per 3 minute. as long as you can chain one mission after another it doesn't matter if you did it in 3 minute or 12.
if the mission last more then 15 minutes you're actually loosing money, cuz from 15 to 30 you are getting 0.4 gold per 5 minutes. (meaning you can spend 15 minutes and get 0.40 gold or do 6 and 9 minute missions and get 0.44 gold instead. and since you're starting loosing dollars after 10 minutes you'll get even more profit for doing missions quicker).
the only reason to drag mission to a full 30 minutes is when you're doing mission you can't really spam. otherwise you're loosing profits.

Damn i was only talking about this the other day, i used to farm gators and herons, build up 30 slabs of meat, teeth and 3 star skins and feathers, sell the lot to the butcher in st denis and repeat, they were long hard days, only way to make money in the beginning.
You could also make excellent money fishing for salmon.

Hey Rasputin Cat, I just wanted to tell you that if you go to settings and tap on display their will be an option called reticle dot size. I recommend you put it on small just so you can more easily see the head of animals and players, it’s helped me a lot and I hope it helps you too.

In order to buy the other roles (Trader/Moonshine, Bounty hunter, Naturalist) it takes a lot of Gold. Madam Nazar gets you cash, but never pays any gold. Because of that I think you should wait for the Collector role, and get Bounty Hunter first. It is the ONLY role that also earns you gold as you do missions. In order to get enough gold for the initial bounty hunter role, you would need to do the main story missions, and stranger missions. 12 minutes is the optimal payout time for Stranger and Bounty hunter missions. You get 0.4 gold every 3 minutes on the mission, up to 12 minutes for 0.32g. After that it's less per time slot, so it's more profitable to finish at 12 minutes, then pick up another mission.

I can't count how many times I have died and I have not once not even once have killed anyone other then npcs. I'm peaceful but I have a sense of like seeing horses randomly somewhere that seems off so I take my rifle with my scope and look at the horse and look at the breed and see its a non npc horse and I'm like nope going other way PEAAACE.( and I mean there isn't a player blimp on my screen or anything I just see a horse sitting around by itself and I'm like SUS SUS PULL RIFLE OUT RIGHT NOW.)

Oh god yeah. Always scouting for hideouts since you could potentially get a treasure map out of it. Fishing in the river by Valentine just to get some 15 bucks. Joining just about any free roam mission possible and trying to win 1st place on them. Ah the good times

It’s a great game. True entertainment and it let’s the player choose how sweaty he wants the game to be (PVP vs PVE). Open world provides lot of funny moments like when trying to throw a dynamite in from a window without noticing there was window glass and exploding yourself in the process 😂

Having played the shit out of RDR2 was totally helpful as well. You know where to find your resources and can already nail head shots from a distance.

Nice! You forgot to tell them to run everywhere at first to increase stamina, let your horse follow behind you. I maxed out health and stamina by level 14 by doing that and shooting people with a bow down at thieves landing👍

I wish I knew how profitable the Collector role was in the beginning. It is my favorite Role by far. I mix Moonshine, Trader and Collector together and now feel financially comfortable. Currently sitting on 54k and 300 gold and I am almost done with the Outlaw pass 4. The only role I have not maxed out is Bounty Hunter and due to whatever the bug is no matter how much I play it I only get gold. No points or cash. Good video. I did not know they had a route option on the Jean Ropke Map. Thanks for the tip

Could’ve said it better myself. It’s all about tonics and better guns, which is extremely stupid. Even worse, there’s literally no match making in the game. You’ll get people who are level 10 pitted against people who are level 400+, of course they are going to get smoked. It’s just not fair

Another great tip when you already have lots of money: do a few collector runs before a new outlaw pass comes out, then after you buy the pass sell all your collections. TONS of xp into your pass! You could even get to the end of your pass instantly if you gathered enough collections.

The sad thing when i started over on pc. (Started playing on release on ps4) was that i loose all the stuff from 2 outlaw passes and all the other things like that. This is just careless on rockstars side. It should atleast be possible to buy it again for someone who played on another system
Very nice. Although I'd have included taking it in turns with other players to do sales with Cripps. Each player working on theirs, then doing long distance sales when complete. Granted it isn't fun and it is grinding but you could do one each a day and make it fun 🙃

The way I start is buy the collector role first, and just keep stacking up, until I have enough to buy other roles, like trader, after buying the Trader, I sell all the collectibles and sell them, for a bunch of money, so I can upgrade the wagons for more money.
But collector doesn't give gold
Traders the best role for money by far if you have a tight dedicated group
Actually buying the bounty role as your first role os the way. It gives gold,money, and xp allowing you to get another role quick.

I feel it might be better to do the Bounty hunter first for the simple reason you also make gold as well as money and xp while doing that role while the other roles only give you money and xp.. Yeah you won't make as much money right off the bat as you would with Collector but Gold is a lot more important in my opinion which in turn will get you the other roles faster.. at least that's how I did it with 3 characters... yes I have 3 characters on 3 different accounts because rockstar for some reason only gives us one character slot

Getting more rewards for taking longer makes some sense when you consider that it means you're spending more time at the mercy of other players.
That's the only logic I can think of behind it.

It's probably easier to get bounty hunter then collector for the easier gold.
