- This E30 build taught me so much about life, cars and doing what you love. I wanted to pay homage to the car and create a nostalgia piece for the build. The build wasn't perfect but I loved every second of it, over the course of a year I did an interior, exterior overhaul and turbo conversion. This car and watching you work on it with friends was the spark that ignited a passion. So far we have done a 2001 740i, a 2009 touring, a 1986 RX7 and a 1975 MGB. Next up is the e30. Since I saw yours, they have gone up in price thousands. I should have bought already. No worries, Christmas is coming.
I love the intake through the headlight. I've always thought that it would be cool to see someone do a hellcat style setup on an e30- intake through an angel eye

Because of videos like yours i want e30, one of the cars im in love and my dream, had an e34 with engine from x5 swap, now e30 is in the line and after e30 e190 is on the line! Great job on that one!

In Italy every mod (except for the breaks) are illegal. It’s illegal even to lower your car
in turkey its illegal to put any modifications besides original aftermarket parts of the car . not even a single sticker . only way to make a custom car is litterally hire an engineer and register every single modification that you made to the car to vehicle licence (which is very hard) . otherwise your car gets towed and not given back until you remove all the modifications.
I enjoyed watching this as I have an e30 as well, a little older and less powerful than yours.
These are sort after classics now and getting harder to find cheap, the odd barn find or abandoned project turns up on ebay but never cheap.

hey man i saved a e30 318i with an m40 in it from an old dude he said the car hasn’t ran in 8 or so years i’ve fixed it it it’s about to go on it’s first drive, but later on in the future i was thinking of building a small turbo m42 and swapping that into it as the m40 in the car is very old and has a lot of Ks on it,, opinions thoughts recommendations?
