Wtf is said at the very end. The very last line of lyrics. It is not “Nothings gonna change at all” it sounds like “till (the) lungs dry out”
Kinda wish more people would listen to the song first without the video.
To be blunt, it's such a safe song for this band, it needs the video to even matter.
I had pretty high hopes (as someone who has actually followed their ENTIRE career, and not just cherry picking songs off shit they did 10+ years ago 🤷) and they have never been as predictable or melodramatic as the singles from this album.
It's disappointing they're relying on cloying emotion instead of the truly excellent song writing they've brought to the table through crowd funded albums.
This is a "This is the Six" b-side on first listen, but lacks any of the frustration present in most of those songs.
Sprinkling in the occasional nu-metal verses and drum patterns was a signature, and now the band has become overly reliant on Sean's heavily affected guitar work.
He does excellent clean guitar passages and I genuinely miss a time they didn't rely so heavily on effects in their songs.
Tbh video did nothing to me, but the song itself is pretty dope

As long as the rest of the record has those sick leads and more pumping drum grooves I’m for it.
