[Industry Ghostwriter] Reacts to: Eminem- Stay Wide Awake- This man just walked me through a murder!

- Äas pĆidĂĄn 8. 05. 2022
- Man now I really am going to Stay Wide Awake. I was getting ready for bed before thisđ. I truly believe without rap Eminem may have become a serial killer. This album is heavily slept on and was ahead of its time.

Soon as my flow starts, I compose art like the ghost of Mozart.
Line always gives me chills
Maybe I'm trippin' off of a recency bias but I think it's the hardest opening bar of any song ever. It might be perfect.
@@vinchinzo594 I heard A lot and i think it is. Im not even a fan of Rm
I never understand when people say they don't or can't play certain music in a car, I always have bumped to Em with no shame.
Maybe I'm jus different.
Same here I blast his music with max volume
I met someone in one of the first uni seminars I had, immediately we were chatting and she invited me back to her place for drinks before a night out that same evening, got buzzed up to her room and she was playing "Sarah" off of Tyler's "Bastard" album (She just had the whole album playing but that track happened to be on), maybe not the best first impression track haha but we are still very good friends to this day.
I blast fack in the mall parking lot for fun but seriously I have no problem bumping Em in the ride and homies who I give rides too don't mind it either actually this song slaps hard with a good sub in ride probly one of my favorites to play
@@tannergawazuk7507 Yes, you get it.
I bump em all the time with no shame, he by far my favourite artist
Thereâs a little bar that Cliff missed here⊠Em said: âIâm the kind of guy, thatâs kinda mild, but i might flip and make it a little wilderâ. Well⊠he used the words âMildâ and âWilderâ. If you flip the M in âMildâ you get the word âWildâ. Man, what a wordsmithđ„đ„đ„đ„
yyyyeeeesss , he is such a genius .
dope
My man was being walked through a vivid rape and murder at 6am we gotta give him a pass lol.
@@troyperry411 yeah definitely mateđ€Łđđđ»đ„đ„đ„đ„
Was about to comment this.. absolutely brilliant writing
The more time passes, the more I start to think this albums a classic.
it really is tho
@@joeltherealone think you right, bro.
I loved this album when it came out, it brings back memories of a better time
@@JCM311 defo bro. Simpler times, too. Haha. Hope youâre good man đŻ
Might as well do music box
Every whole sentence in second verse RHYME!
No one was ever at this level!
id argue that lil pump rhyming almost an entire song in his classic masterpiece âGucci Gangâ is up there
Gift of Gab ("Effed Up") and Tech N9ne ("Cocky") have done it too. I love these types of prolonged rhyme schemes đ„
MF DOOM
The first verse is a shout-out to 2pacs classic, "Brenda's got a baby." This album is slept on.
no lmfao just because he used the same name means nothing at all, he didn't even mention her having a baby, a placenta is just part of the reproductive organs, it doesn't mean a baby
this album won a grammy and has to be part of his top 5
@@Raresstanciu1top 3.
This album is just brilliant. For me it's kinda like a movie. Not everyone likes horror flicks but that doesn't mean they're bad. ppl gotta get over the mindset that there are only certain acceptable topics in HipHop. From the opening skit (Dr West) to the last song Em is bringing us through his addiction experience. It's no surprise that fans and critics alike are revisiting this project and re-rating it. Thanks for being openminded
Even the b sides are awesome. Buffalo bill anyone?
@@dkn8463 i love buffalo bill
This track is the cadence masterpiece for me from Em
This is probably my favorite EM song along with "Same Song and Dance".
Easily his best rhyme schemes came from Relapse and his storytelling is unbelievable.
What about music box and 3am
Better than watching a horror movie with the base to the sound of a heart beat.
@@GhostWatcher2024 Iâve heard this song 100s of times and I didnât catch it until a week or two ago. Whatâs funny is that none of the reactors caught it either. Knowing it now makes that song hit that much harder.
It's quite a tale to tell, but still wonderful Poetry.
â@@marcindebski6166 "I'm dancing to quite the different drum beat" that's when I first realized it and payed attention to the beat and realized it's a fucking heartbeat. It's dark yet dope asf
iâve always been saying Relapse is a top tier Eminem album and nobody ever believed me
I loved this album when it first released, everyone was mad I was still listening to months later đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
well like cliff said, you can very easily tell that Em isn't confident in himself or his delivery throughout pretty much all of relapse, maybe excluding Beautiful but I'd rather hear him actually have confidence in what he's saying
@@anomaly3215I donât hear that.
@@anomaly3215 I donât hear that at all.
It's crazy that the beat to this song is a freaking heartbeat! This man is too much, but I LOVE his serial killer shit! đ€ŁđŻđâ€ïž
Hence the line "Stay away from me cuz I'm dancing to quite a different drum beat"
That whole 2nd verse to me is the piece that truly connects to the song title. The chorus is like him ominously telling the woman he's creeping up on that she better stay awake or he'll get her.
That whole "scour you for 6 hours til outage of power outlets" was so nasty. Torture you in the tub with power tools until the power goes out lol. And "drown you with piles of downers around you" making it look like a suicide or accidental death from taking downers and passing out. His mind is so fuckin dope
One of my favourite tracks on this album. Youre right Relapse/Refill was so slept on.
Love from the UK†đŹđ§ đșđž
Em is straight up genius when it comes to his storytelling & imagery. He could easily write a horror movie script or graphic novels. This album is very dark, but his rapping is almost like the cherry on top of the imagery sundae. It's so vivid & horrifying in your mind. 3 AM & Insane are crazy dark tracks too!
Don't forget Same Song and Dance!
Or framed
He wanted to draw comics at a young age, let's not forget you need to know how to tell a story as well, I love his story telling, "as the world turns" is a favorite
@@lupebalderrama4392 as the worlds turn is so funnyđ im screaming no please let go but she swallowed my fuckin leg whole like an egg-rollđź
Relaspe is like Christmas morning. Every track is a gift. đ„đ„đ„
Hello is a banger!
One of my favorite Eminem tracks, the entire second verse if you look at the color coded lyrics is insane, literally feels an entire page rhyming every single sentence, thank you for this one!
All while staying on scheme and telling a story
I been watching your channel more than no life shaqs ,his not the same no more ,keep up the awsome work
There is something about this song and the entirety of the Relapse album I just enjoy reactions to. Stay wide a wake is my favorite song reactors react to. The whole album is a serial killer/ horror theme. The songs were made inbetween when Eminem was on drugs and going through rehab and flushing the drugs out. A time where em had to relearn to rap.
well like cliff said, you can very easily tell that Em isn't confident in himself or his delivery throughout pretty much all of relapse, maybe excluding Beautiful but I'd rather hear him actually have confidence in what he's saying
Definitely should've checked out the rhymes highlighted video for this. Verse 2 is an insane display of holding an extremely complex rhyme pattern for an entire verse
This is one of my favorite songs. So glad you did this one!
Finally!!! Thank you for this one Cliff! A dope reaction, loved it. I love the 2nd verse, it's epic. Also, the beat being in the rhythm of a heartbeat. Cadences, Flow, multi syllables, storytelling and a few bars/doubles. It has it all. Also, it was killshot "my biggest flops are your greatest hits"
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„
Yes relapse is here! Letâs see you do music box next homie! Great reaction as always đ„
really like your point of he was missing the conviction with confliction of his infliction. but that first verse gets me when the guitar steps up to match the intensity of the situation hes created.
đđ»đđ»đđ» One of my favorites! Great job! đ€đ»âđ»đ
Love this song! Been waiting for you to get to it. This showcases his mastery of flows. Sticking to these rhyme schemes for the number of bars is amazing.
I also think this is what you get when he doesn't have a specific target for his diss tracks. I think he didn't have a specific beef at this time and being recently clean was still processing his own actions being problematic for himself.
Dude is just a genius. We have witnessed a genius at work. Subject matter is⊠not for some but look at the complexity and story telling just blows my mind. Dude was bored and made accents to play with word play đ
It's official. I no longer see all notifications for your channel cause I wouldn't have waited 13 days to watch this. And I'm happy I scrolled through my CZcams feed, otherwise I would have missed it... ugh.
Lol. Been excited for you to do this one đ€Ł
The fact you do this is enough for me, you see it you feel it you understand it is the shit. We need to appreciate this man before he's done. He at least, deserves that much. Loved this đđ
Dude, the disparity between Em's face and your Pac-Man shirt got me CRACKING UP!
My favorite song off Relapse!! Thanks for the video bro
Keep grinding brother great video, beard looks flawless, and I love the TeeShirt
I was gifted this album for my 9th birthday in the same year that it was released. My mother had no clue what I was listening to in my ear budsđđ
Thanku Cliff, that was food for my soul
His story telling this entire album is phenomenal.
relapse is definitely one of my favorite em albums. the flows and the production is ridiculous
The rhyme patterns in this inspired me so much when I was writing raps in my teens.
i love relapse the production is incredible also eminem is just a genius with his flow patterns
Ooooh one of my favorites! â€ïž

Great observations regarding your take on Marshall Mathers rapping!!
Always loved how the base line is a heartbeat sound đ
The anger in step dad is tuff hope you get to it soon. this was another superb reaction
The heart beat the entire song is wild

Horrocore masterpiece off my all time favorite Eminem album.
Absolute lyrical genius. The rhymes... đ insane
"Im dancing to a quite a different drum beat.."
And the Beat of the song is a Hear Beat... Nice
Such a master class in writing
Throwback! Funny reaction đ€Ł
Iâd really like to see you react to, Eminem Dont Front
Probably not gonna happen but itâs an unreleased song that came out right after MMLP2 and itâs super bar heavy. Where the real Em fans at? Help me out đđ»
Nah, it was released on MMLP 2 Deluxe for those who ordered it in bundle with Call of Duty Ghosts. Fire track, I put in in his top-20
@@barnhauz Awh I bought the physical album that year. I only thought Groundhog Day, Desperation, Wicked Ways, Baby, and Beautiful Pain were on the bonus tracks.
Beat is heartbeat. Dope
This album is genius imo always loved it
Yes!! Next Em should be Same Song & Dance!
It's a heartbeat
this is by far one of my favorite songs from em
The beat is a heartbeat.
Im pretty sure that line about dancing in red panties is a nod to Buffalo Bill in silence of the lambs
Sheesh finally. Ok letâs go. Iâm here.

omgggggggg best reactor everrrrrrrrrrr đ đđđ
One of my all time favorite tracks on one of my all time favorite albums
The beat is actually a heartbeat đ
This is gruesome, horrific but awesome xx Em is the master class of lyrics xx â€ïžđą xx
The beat is a heart beat.
I think the 508s are trying to mimic a heartbeat all the way through, gives it a dark edge
One of Eminemâs best opening verses
I bought this cd like two years ago. Same song and dance is my favorite.
3 am keep it going bro
Relapse is top 5 for me.. loved it

Personally, this is actually my favourite Em song because the flow is so eather and the beat is just đ„
This one has color coded lyrics. đ„
Relapse is unbelievable. One of his best. And Widw awake is a masterpiece. Idk anyone that can make this song honestly or rap like that. He didn't have that grit because it wouldn't have worked here
Never noticed the drum beat I think is to represent a heartbeat..
Heart beat
Did u notice the beat of the music is a heartbeat
I dont care what anyone thinks. This is his best song.
The flow, the beat, the atmosphere, the lyrics (I'm a metallhead so i'm used to worse), the story, everything is just 10/10
100%
Itâs insane too that the entire second verse ends on the same rhyme.
He actually rhymes the entire line, like 14 syllables at a time.
Got to do Raw - Bad Meets Evil man!
Same song and dance is the one that stuck with me from relapse
Anybody else notice the beat of this song is a heartbeat rhythm listen carefully to the bass
Someone needs to get âEm to write a horror movie.
U have 2 do my darling from relapse its the refill extra soooo good... this cd was soooo slept on
That rhyme scheme in verse 2 is second to none
Music Box next!
It reminds me of what happened to lead pac to write Brenda got a baby when you think bout his top artistâŠespecially with the hook
