3” flat Wooster mon - Friday . Never changes unless I’m brushing oil and it’s still a flat brush . Man Mike you hit the dang nail on the head with the monkey see Monkey do . I saw the craziest thing the other day . A guy was running a x5 spray rig with the contractor pc gun . I know why he got it , cause it’s pretty and everyone else has one . The gun is junk with plastic on it in my opinion . So he spent $400 on his x5 $300 on his pc gun $70 for his fflp tip $770 for all that . I wanted to tell the guy he could have got him a damn good graco 395 at least from one of them companies selling re built rigs , but he just needed that gun. Hey but it’s worth it cause one day he might want to have a 3 finger trigger and maybe the next he feels like using all 4 fingers and who knows maybe wants to spray with 2 just cause it’s Friday….. dumbest feature ever . That solid metal sg2 gun his rig came with was way better than that pc gun . So many pointless over priced tools being put out for painters and these guys are eating it up . I’m 34 started at 18 out of high school working next to an old school bad ass everyday . Just me and him . Glad I didn’t have any younger guys around while I was learning cause it could have easily became a pre Madonna painter

My favorite brush was a flat 3" Wooster Jaguar. I slept with that thing 😂

I havent seen any painters at the company I work for (60+ painters) use flat brushes, all angle. But I prefer to use flat brushes. One of the big paint companies around here don't even carry flat brushes in their stores and sherwin only carries a handful of flat cut that ive seen.
