Those seats seem like quite an improvement over the milk crate. Good luck figuring out the lock up issue. You probably know this already, and I didn’t see you actually welding on the truck, but speaking from experience, disconnect your battery before you weld on your truck. I can’t believe how far you have come with LBL. Great work. I am confident you will have the lock up issue diagnosed and fixed in no time.

LBL looking really good. But, as with all projects, things will come up here and there. I think you have the right idea by starting your troubleshooting with the rear diff, then coming forward from there. I hope you find the problem quickly and that is not too complicated or expensive.🤙🏼
Luckily I've found the problem. Stupid mistake on my part. Just gotta fix it now.
I used the same rear seats to my single cab.... good choice!

New Follower so I guess I missed it. What did those seats come out of? What do you think would work in a non extended cab 1st gen? Some of the modern seats are just to big for a larger driver.

What kind of mechanical fuel pump were you using? I just recently had a problem with two Delphi, mechanical pumps, and the third one finally was the charm.
I am new here. Great work and looks like you have a couple of them. . Are you using gas 4 doors and converting them or stretching them ?
All of my are original 4 door trucks.

Rear doors are super hard to find. What part of the country are you in?
I’m right next door in northern Colorado. I found it for sale in Spokane so I hooked up my trailer and snagged it up. Hopefully it’ll be as nice as yours someday.
