Very nice. I have an '04 that I bought from the co. I work for that has this same problem. Their mechanics answer was to hot wire a button on the dash near your left knee. Slammed my knee into it several times but I'll be fixing it very soon thanks to your video. Thank you very much for this.

thank you. I was driving for over a year now without a horn thinking it was an expensive fix. Your video helped me fix it in no time. The hardest part was trying to get the little red wire with the spring back in the hole that it actually stayed in.

Sir, You were spot on. Thanks for posting this. I have a 2002 Chevy Suburban with 353,207 proud miles. This was the only video I could find for this model. This model you access from the rear of the steering wheel and not the side, like some other Chevy models and years. I had trouble getting the airbag off until I did it and then it was simple, so I want to add additional instruction and this additional info...use a flathead screwdriver and have the blade flat vertically and slide it in the small hole in the back, then push it in all the way till it stops,, then slowly twist the flat blade 90 degrees to horizontal position and it will pop loose the metal snap that holds the airbag in place. Once I figured this out everything else was a piece of cake like you said. I sanded off the corrosion off the 4 brass blades and the banjo spring and the horn works like new. Thanks again.

@@MelvinZoopersi related the relay for horn. Do I need to replace the fuse for the air bag? Horn still not working!

Same problem I had with my 2002 2500hd. Had good fuse, good relay, so your video did the trick by only cleaning all the contact points. Horn works great now. Thanks for posting this, it really helped a lot. 👍👍

This was almost perfect, BUT I wish you said what tools you need first. You helped me fix my horn, but I had to stop and go buy a T-30 & T-20. I also recommend a can of compressed air. I blew out the hole that the connection and spring went in and some crap came out.
