The whole opening scene right up to the actual robbery was in my opinion one of the best animated scenes I've seen in awhile it was like a genuine conversation between friends 👌
Fun fact: despite their parts being recorded in the midst of quarantine, Sam Rockwell and Marc Maron actually recorded their parts in the same room in order to make the relationship between Wolf and Snake feel more genuine

Took my daughter to see this at the weekend. Expected a typical kids film and actually loved it. Great characters, animation and soundtrack
When your daughter dies and feels the great pain of death, you will be the one who killed her and caused her that pain. Because you gave birth to her because you are an animal that can't control his sexual instincts, because of your animals. We were born against our will in this damned life and we suffer because of you, you are a criminal, piece of shit from a bird.
Mostly because is not just goofy and stupid, it’s not treating the audience like a bunch of 2 year olds eating crayons. It is actually for the WHOLE family.

This car chase while understandably a little cartoonish it is fantastic and I hope there is more in the movie and more in any hopeful sequels.

I think what really saves this movie is the animation, where every movie what’s to be hyper realistic and omg look at the T-shirt! You can look at the fluff and everything! But this movie it’s so stylish! Love the movement and the posing! I unironic ironically fell in love with mister snake, the way he (I don’t know the word) creep? Trail? You get the idea, the way he moves, his expression, he burst with personality in literally every frame, I think that’s why people love wolf as much as they do, I can’t say the same about ms tarantula but her design is cute enough. Mr snake and Mr wolf really still the film for me, and their relationship is so interesting that even tho I knew exactly what was going to happen and what character was gonna do, I still care and was rotting for the protagonist
Lit I keep watching the first 22 seconds of this film, the way they look at each other, how they walk…trail? You get it, how they interact, how one shoots, the other one responds and his reaction and then the reaction of the reaction like 😫😫😫😫 so good

Snake (Mr. Snake) - A Demolitions expert, This serpent knows how to open safe locks with his tail but with no arms, because a snake doesn’t have any arms, he’s friends with Wolf.
Tarantula (Ms. Tarantula) - The bad guys pocket hacker tech-wizard that knows how to hack with her laptop, we call her Webs for short, and she has smart brains, I guess, but did you know, Tarantula is actually a Mexican species of the Red-Knee Tarantula, hence the red stripes on her knees.
Shark (Mr. Shark) - An apex predator of a 1000 faces, that is master of disguise, he likes to pretend to be somebody, so someone will think he’s a big fat person, despite being a sea animal, he can swim in water or go on land.
Piranha (Mr. Piranha) - A wild card, being a loose cannon with short fuse, attacks enemies, willing to scrap with anyone or anything, he’s brave and fearless because of his razor sharp teeth, but he can be crazy, Plus, he farts when he’s nervous about lying, despite being a sea animal, he can swim on water or go on land.

This movie ended with a good note and doesn't need a sequel. However, I'm thirsty for prequels of their old exploits that made them this infamous.
I think it'll get a sequel. We already know that these guys can do heists for good causes, so it'll be interesting to see what the team comes up with.
One of the animators was for sure a car person. The widebody camaro, dished rims, handbrake with the ratchet removed, and the detail on the car was top tier

Looks like it was heavily inspired by a late 60's ford mustang. Also there is a lot of modification to the car, it has wide body kit installed, it has wide tyres and an overhauled engine because you don't get that kind of wheel spin on anything less than 600 HP even if you drop the clutch. I'd also presume a power steering rack, and custom suspension... And it's a manual stick shift.
Mr. Wolf has good taste in cars. That thing would be so much fun to drive.... and very expensive to make.

Hot topic but I find this opening and movie overall to be better than of Puss in Boots The Last Wish. Don't get me wrong, I loved both of them immensly. Puss is a re invention of the character or straight up direct upgrade in many regards and it was executed near perfectly. The Bad Guys however is just a buffet of the best aspects of all your favorite heist movies into a lovable gift with a preety wrapper on top. In only 6 minutes it managed to perfectly recreate fit Pulp Fiction, Heat, Fast and the Furious to name only a few.
