I've always found it wiser to just focus on a skill set that pays six figures (like Information Technology). MLM has always been a losing proposition.
We sell products that benefit people.
What’s your product? How does it benefit people?
Yes. And you can live a great life by bringing in your friends & family.
Mike, you are agreeing with Dave Ramsey on all of his key points (as do I) and then deflecting attention away from them by espousing nebulous emotional feelings of “good products” and “community”. Products don’t sell themselves, not even good products. MLM is NEVER about the “product”. The products are common things with nothing unique about them. There’s no money to be made in just selling this “good” product alone as in a traditional sales job. If you want to make money, you have to be willing (and able) to schmooze and manipulate people’s’ feelings to convince them they can do that too. The high turnover Dave talks about is because most people can’t.
Ya if you try doing the selling with the “old school” methods. I’ve made sales without talking to anyone using different marketing methods that work better. Also educational or digital products are way more powerful and pay more than physical overpriced ones.
So yes I agree with is points. He just doesn’t know there are easier ways to market and make sales these days that don’t involve schmoozing, manipulation or even talking to someone one on one.

people mostly buy MLM products to make money, they are too overpriced and unknown. People buy more based on brand recognition and affordability which is the opposite of MLMs
Well you can say the same thing about any business. They do it to make money and usually charge way more than they pay to make a profit. The real question should be are they giving the consumer a fair deal. And yes a lot of MLMs are overpriced. I wouldn’t say all are though.

Good question. Probably not.
This makes me laugh. You're so focused in good products that even after going to your website I cant find them. You don't care about products, you care about getting people to get people to get people to get money.
You must have not looked very far, I have a whole list of good products we use on the main "Links" page I send you to.
