  • Over the last year I've lost about 30 pounds and still losing, so why not lose a few more with taking a more minimalistic approach when it comes to your gear.
    The HRT ARC belt is a fantastic piece of equipment for those looking to cut down on some of the stuff they carry with them.

    Ive been running rhe HRT ARC belt for a few months now and am very pleased with it.
    The inner belt is different than the one shown in the video - its lighter and more rigid - a tegris core velcro wrap but works well for EDC.
    The back of the outer belt being bare isnt an issue, plenty of adhesion between the two belts even with a heavy duty gun and holster as well as 3 20 rnd pistol mags and rifle mag. I can release the buckle and hop, and it still holds. Rear sleeve pannels are available if you want to cover more of the tegris and add more adhesion. If you are using any old legacy molle the snaps weave through the bare core without the sleeves easier than with them.
    The outer belt is curved to fit your body so leftys (like me) have to reverse the core. This keepa the curve in line with your body and routes the outer core back thru the belt on your weak side so it doesnt bind against a UBL.
    I was in between a small and medium sized core... went with medium in case i put on more weight. This added a bit more tongue to pass through when putting it on, but that just reinforced the stability even more.
    Incredibly lightweight, Completely modular, run whatever buckle you want and route the straps to the outside if youre the type to adjust frequently or thru the belt for a clean front with no loss of molle real estate.

    Thanks for the review! We are actually working on an IFAK pouch for it along with additional pouches. We also have the rear sleeves ready to launch as well. Thanks for the suggestions! Also you can MOLLE anything to the core of the belt and sleeve are not needed to do that.

    I too think they should have some sort of matching cover over the back of the belt. One thing you can do to secure the belt, especially in the back is to use belt keepers. Check out the Fusion Tactical Military Police Patrol Belt Keeper.

    The best belt I can think of would be Batmans utility belt. Just saying. I agree with blank area in the back. It would have been better if it was covered like the rest of the belt. Never know when your going to need 2 or 3 additional mag holders plus like you said about a spot for a tourniquet.

    it would definitely be awesome if they make things for the back area but sitting here being tacticool trying all my stuff on I think I see the reason for no velcro on the back. when putting on belts if I dont get the back lined up just right I have to completely undue the belt and adjust it but with no velcro on the back all you need to worry about are the important parts where you have stuff attached (sides and front) and if you'd like velcro on the back get 1 of their velcro straps and just attach it directly onto the back of the belt for more stability!

      Someone knows his belt!!! In the past we tend to stick the holster to our hip first, AND THEN wrap it all the way around the back... just to make sure everything is "indexed" perfectly (because it is most important that my holster is always at the same spot). Like you said, if we start at 6 o'clock and the belt was just a tag off, I'd have to peel it off and re-do... sometimes it takes forever. Now that they got rid of any Velcro at the back, all that problem is gone. The belt goes on faster every time, and velcro to the right spot every time!

    I personally use the Defense Mechanisms inner Tegris belt this HRT Arc belt for my outer. The combination of the two it spectacular. I only wish both inner and outer belts were double layered tegris.

      This really is a fantastic belt. I will usually wear the inner belt by itself on range days and it's flawless

    May I ask what size belts did you got for underneath and the top belt?

  • @Xrobberyx

    Definitely the best looking belt on the market but the pals doesn’t work well with legacy molle . Secondly the back not having sleeves/ Velcro is somewhat of a concern maybe for positioning my purposes the left the Velcro out so when you wrap the belt around the back doesn’t get “stuck” as you’re trying to orient the front ? But the mag pouches are A+

    • @ValhallaTactical
      @ValhallaTactical Před rokem

      Yup you hit it right on the nail! As long as there are enough side-velcro, the belt won't shift or lift. But without back sleeves, it is a LOT faster and easier to index the belt so your holster sits at the exact same spot every time. Good observations!!

      @@ValhallaTactical if they release back sleeves could they release one that’s just a sleeve without any Velcro? I would buy that in a heartbeat. I want one of these belts but it has to be all black for duty use

    • @ValhallaTactical
      @ValhallaTactical Před rokem

      @@Trofog You are not alone, we have multiple users indicated their agency will not approve "carbon-fiber like textures" on duty belts. A few departments don't even allow basket-weave pouches... That said, will it be acceptable if the sleeves comes in as multiple 3"-wide sections?

    Couldn't you move your magazine pouches further back by attaching the wings to further back slots?

    • @ValhallaTactical
      @ValhallaTactical Před rokem

      Those skeletonized cuts on the exposed belt core are MOLLE compatible!! So the mag pouches can actually be moved back individually, without shifting the sleeves. But yes, you are 100% correct - because the sleeves are modular, you can simply undo the "tabs" (wings) and shift the entire sleeve back. Very good observation!!

    Andrew I got the new Kore battle belt ver last year that is fully adjustable on the fly. I can resize about 1/4 inch at time without undoing the buckle. Completely awesome for tactical games, which I done several times, as your load and activity changes. Sorry but that belt is nothin new.

    Get rid of one rifle mag and move everything back

    • @ValhallaTactical
      @ValhallaTactical Před rokem

      Or just move everything back! No need to get rid of one rifle mag... The pouch (or ANY MOLLE pouches) will attach right on the exposed Tegris core. 😉

    Belt is good quality but nothing special just another cobra type belt.
