Hi I live in India where there is lot of humidity and heat therefore my curly frizzy are dry-damaged-lot of split ended-lightening struck hair...
I tried DIY deep conditioning oil treatment.
1.Put aloe Vera gel on my whole hair scalp root everywhere,
    2. mix 2:1 coconut oil(olive oil/sesame oil is also great) and castor oil respectively, add 3-4 vitE capsules and heat it a bit...to make it also work like a serum(optional)
I added 4-5 drops of essential oil(Rosemary or lavender or tea tree anything is fine).
I kept it overnight on hair and washed in morning and did this for entire 1month...God my hair Finally began curling beautifully again... Do try it and tell me the result girls..

I have high porosity, fine, thin 3B hair. To deep condition, I add olive & coconut oils into my Shea Moisture masques. For scalp massages, I use JBCO with essential oils (for growth) but only before washing since it's a heavy oil. To seal moisture, I add several drops of argan oil to my leave-in KCKT conditioner so it's not too heavy. Those of us with finer, high porosity hair have a real balancing act with needing the moisture but getting weighed down by oils. However, I find the best results by adding them into my hair products vs on their own. Plus, I'm slightly obsessed with oils so I have a large collection to make face & body creams too. If I were a minimalist, my hair would be completely satisfied with argan and coconut oils only.

This sounds similar to my experience..My hair is mostly 3b with some 3a and 2c in the neck area. I didn’t use oil because my hairdresser would blow dry my hair. However, with the pandemic and the need to do my own hair, I’ve started roller set and experimenting with oil. I read about and discovered coconut oil which my hair loves, just a few drops in the palm and recently learned to finish with a couple of drops of argon or JoJoba oil. My hair doesn’t have the super polished look of salon hair but it’s glossy and healthy and has grown several inches.

Rosemary essential oil is good for hair growth, Sunflower oil is very very oily so after i deep condition i usually use a little shampoo afterwards but it is great for controlling frizz, and Peppermint essential oil is also used to stimulate hair growth as well as getting rid of dandruff. I hope this helps a lot of you🙂

Tip: I add a few drops of rosemary oil to my leave in conditioner because it makes it smell AMAZING and evidently, it's good for hair growth too. This also helps if you combine just one drop of rosemary oil to other oils that you don't like the smell of. It will make any oil smell wonderful!!

I use it with my deep conditioners and with praying hands to SOTC. Before bed I also use a little on my edges and nape before putting on my satin cap. I really like argan oil to give me that va va VOOM! It makes my hair super super shiny and if you have blonde hair or highlights it can bring those out nicely. Sometimes I'll do a hot coconut+argan+olive oil treatment which is nice... idk really I think the best it to just experiment and find what's right for your hair!

I use amla oil mixed with Jamaican black caster oil. Or my favorite Camille Rose honey nibbs and Coco. I use these on my scalp and hair. After applying oils I apply heat to my hair and sleep on it with a plastic cap and beanie. In the morning I apply more heat, let it cool off and then wash it off in the shower with shampoo and conditioner. Then style as usual using leave in conditioner, oil, curl cream (LOC) method.

I absolutely HATE coconut oil on my hair! I love grape seed oil and jojoba oil. My daughter’s hair loves coconut oil. I’m low porosity and she’s high porosity. That could be a factor. I bought every brand of coconut oil and they ever made and still it sat on my hair and scalp like lard. đŸ€ŁđŸ˜

LOL! What type of coconut oil is it? Is it cold pressed or is it fractionated? Because depending on the temperature, you might have to warm coconut oil in your hands first so it gets to its liquid state. Otherwise if you apply it in it's solid state, yeah, it could just sit on the hair like lard. LoL!

I used to use coconut oil, then later found out I was protein sensitive and it did NOT work for me. I now use olive oil right after I shampoo, deep condition and apply a leave-in conditioner to my hair. I apply it to my scalp with an applicator bottle and massage into my scalp. I then apply a little bit to my hair before applying my styler. If my hair gets dry during the week, I just a little bit more oil on my hair before the styler. I do this for my hair and my daughter's hair as well and it works out great. Your lipstick was very pretty dear, Happy Sunday!

Note for those using coconut oil, while great for penetrating the shaft of the hair, my research (googling and personal trial and error) showed that it can not be absorbed into the scalp and that it will actually create a thin layer that impedes hair growth. My recommendation keep the coconut to the ends

The coconut oil helps disperse the black castor oil since it's so thick, and a very little bit of tea tree oil smells amazing and is really healthy for your scalp. I've always been using coconut oil ever since I was a kid and before I started my curly hair journey. It's pretty heavy in the hair but it helped my natural hair grow healthy. Somehow, I think it made my dark hair darker and shinier. I still use it up till now in my curly hair journey and I learned not to put too much so that it won't wear my hair down. But I'm still trying to find oils that will help me improve in my journey that's why I'm here. Anyway, thank you Ms. Bianca!!

Bianca seems to have similar hair to my own but I've found that my hair no longer tolerates heavy oils. If coconut or avocado oil is too heavy for your hair try a blend with safflower oil. I found mine at Wal-Mart, cooking oil section, for $10 and my hair is loving it. Put a little in your water bottle for refreshing and/or mix with cream of any sort. The safflower oil helps the coconut and avocado oils penetrate and really lock in the moisture. I even use it for my skin and I'm so freaking soft now.

I have used oils in my hair off and kn my whole life, but not consistently. I have been a swimmer and a surfer my whole life so my hair is pretty damaged. It’s down to my butt but the ends are breaking and/or have split ends. Even the split ends have split ends! It’s also thick, coarse, frizzy, and wavy. At least I don’t blow dry my hair straight after each time it gets wet anymore. 😂Currently, I have jojoba oil, Argan oil, vitamin E oil, and OlaPlex oil, that I’m playing with. I may consider using coconut oil for detangling, and prior to going in showers or the ocean, thanks to your video.

I can't use oils or conditioner on my scalp (finicky scalp, long story (need medicated shampoo for it)), but I use it in a thing called an oil rinse. In between my 2 conditioning treatments I put a tiny pump of oil (baby oil) on the last 2/3 inches of my hair, then immediately follow with my second conditioner. It is awesome. And I still follow up with my LOC/LCO method. It keeps my ends moisturized the entire week!
