In 2022, RBMN released the massive and highly acclaimed 2102 steam engine locomotive back into the wild after years of a rebuilding process. The 2102 has since been considered one of the most important restoration projects by the railroad industry in the past decade.
This historical masterpiece is ready for ridership AGAIN and, on July 1st, Reading Blue Mountain & Northernâs 2023 IRON HORSE RAMBLES returns!
Get your tickets as soon as possible because there are only THREE dates available to ride with the 2102 and seats sell out exceedingly fast.

I rode the first rambler after 2102 restoration in 2022 sheâs one of the best locomotives ever sadly canât make it this year keep up the good work

#425 will be back in the future. It is down for its big rebuild but of course we want to ensure it is done right!

We plan on the "02" to be in service for a long time. Hopefully, you'll be able to make it to the states in the future! She'll be waiting for you when you do!
I am ready for to see 2102 on July 1st because 2102 is one of my most favorite locomotive and really hope to ride behind and see it in person on July the first, plus it will be my first 4-8-4 locomotive, plus reading and northern is my childhood itâs a place I always wanted to visit and see the great steam locomotives so hopefully my dream will come true.

@@RBMN I did get to ride it and man I was amazing, i allways want to go to PA and visit you guys and see your amazing locomotives like the 425 which I always wanted to see that one and when I heard when you guys go the 2102 back in service I really wanted to see 2102 as well.
All hyped up, man! I've already got tickets to see her in July, it's gonna be amazing to see this big girl at work in person!
I wonder if 2102 can pulls future excursions from Reading to Pittston?
No such plans this year, but you never know what might be coming up next year! Always watch our websites and Facebook pages for announcements on special excursions.
I wish you guys would have scheduled more dates for 2102. Oh well.
