But that would be silly! Mario doesn't see with his overalls, he sees with his head. So why would you put buttons, which are clearly meant to be eyes, on his clothes? See, Peetter gets this, that's why he is the top plushmaster in the world. Perhaps if you had the world's smallest, and the world's largest, PC in the world's world then you could have his perspective and understand things the way he does, then even you could be stuck in your basement just like him! If only we all could be a little bit more like Petter, but sadly I don't have a basement, or 1st degree burnt fingers from excessive hot glue use.

I’ve gotten so frustrated at plush patterning that I’ve sculpted the shapes in blender and UV unwrapped it to get a vague idea what shapes I’m supposed to be using. Plush making is witchcraft

I don't know why I expected him to use needle and thread over hot glue...
Or just using a sewing machine. Much easier and quicker than using a hot glue. :D I believe that many people would have borrowed him a sewing machine for this video. :)

as an amateur sewer, I found the fact that you used hot glue instead of a needle and thread extremely painful. Apart from that, you did a pretty good job for your first try

Just a plush making tip, always make the plush just a tiny bit bigger than you want it to be, so when you flip it inside out, it’ll be the size you want it to be.
