I just bought the last one on ebay for like $40. The rest are all being priced at like $70 and up now.

That's cuz we didn't get very many promos for Sword and shield. I would also say the gold star greninja, and charizard v full art are better promos. Just compare them to anything in S&V. I don't think it's that bad. It's just for crown zenith it should have been better.
Also a big fan of the Amazing Rares, and getting a Celebrations Shining Magikarp is the most affordable way to get that sweet, sweet artwork. A pity they didn't do the same for the Shining Gyarados, too.

hey buddy shout out from the uk just came across you been watching alot of people talk about pokemon your my favourite so far very insightfull will be watching your monthly video to see what your collecting and investing in as iive been collecting for a few months now and i got to admit love the 151 japenese set trying to complete the japenese and the english 151 set and the the v-star japenese set and the rest of my collection is mosly sealed stuff booster boxes premium collection ect but nice video buddy keep it up :)

Kinda put investing on hold to work on my collection. I picked up all the Pop Series except 4&5 last month, trying to build something unique!

I’ve been monitoring the glaceon and leafeon vstar’s from crown zenith and there’s been interesting movement. Tons of thr raw are selling out under 20$ and the PSA 10s which WERE 45$ all day are gone. The cheapest I’ve found are up to 60$ for leafeon and 75$ for glaceon. Might be a smart play to start loading into those and the Sylveon trainer galleries given what happened with the eevee alt arts and the Umbreon trainer galleries. I can personally see the VSTARs being 100$ PSA 10s sometime this summer. One last card that might be primed for a rocket increase is the silver tempest Rayquaza VMAX. with how nuts the ES one is going, 32$ seems cheap, especially given the card was consistently 50$ for 3 months showing the interest is there
Yeah I’ve been keeping an eye on them as well. The Umbreon vmax in brilliant stars shot up SUPER quickly as well went from I think $20 all the way up to like $50 within the span of a few days it felt like

Celebrations Umbreon and Magikarp.. buying those things up. Best deal on the entire Pokemon market. Super interested in those Pokemon Classic Box holos too though. Particularly the Articuno and base starters like the Wartortles you grabbed. Think that's a really good move. The Crown Zenith secret Pikachu, Suicune, Leafeon, Deoxys and Mew are all sleepers too.
What about celebrations pikachu! Pop will go down bc ppl will sign and give out at bdays!

Just found your channel I'm loving the context! Had a question, I do what you do by buying cards in bulk from tcg player. However, any holos or illustrations i pick up always come with a ton of small scratches all over the cards and most of the time the cards are very warped like they were stored in a humid room just sitting out. I make sure they are near mint and try from different sellers for better quality with no luck. Any advice? Prices are hard to beat but not worth the poor quality near mint. Thanks!
It's all about the sellers on tcgplayer. I even overpay a little bit to get from the best sellers.
My question for your ongoing what if series is “what if we invest in side items?” Like the super some bros Pokémon cards that are numbered, items like the Brazil 151 with the only jumbo gold mew, or even the sticker packs. Curious what side items you’d recommend

Making adjustments in spending so I can start buying booster box cases for investments. Ty for ur channel. Ur one of my main guys I watch. Ty so much. Minnesota love ❤️ 🎉
In the future the only people that are buying cases are going to be other investors and not the collectors who you want to sell to to get full market value. Sealed cases are a niche that doesn't really matter come time to sell. If you see a box for a good price (tiktok deals) grab them up. Having sealed cases aren't going to improve profits and usually are more expensive than getting 6 boxes separately in my experience.
@XingCollectables cases are actually best. For modern, you can almost always get for a better deal unless it's a super hot set. Cases are the best of both worlds. When a set booms, the cases are worth more. Yes, definitely a little harder to sell, but when you do its sweet and one deal, and shipping once. If it doesn't sell you always have the option to open the case and sell individually. You also don't have a ton of loose boxes that will get damaged. I also know a few collectors who have a lot of cases including myself. I don't plan on selling 99% of my stuff.
@@PokeBeardTCG If you have the money for the cases then sure but buying individual with coupons on TikTok or getting them at Card shows for a solid cash deal in my experience has been the lowest price per box. Picked up Silver Tempest boxes x3 for 110 a box just a few weeks ago and there's not a single place selling those for cheaper in a case. Could have got SV base for $70ea and I haven't seen any lower price point. Could have got a case of that for the same price per but I don't prioritize cases as I believe in the long term, they aren't worth the hassle to sell as a full case. Especially sealed.
If I'm selling a $4000 - $12000 case of BBs I am making sure the contents are in the box before shipping and I recommend anyone to do the same. Too many people will claim they opened the case and there was something else in the box and if you have no video proof because you sold a case sealed then you are screwed out of $12000. Just something to be wary about.
Look at sales of sets like Team up and Cosmic. Only 2 and 3 cases sold on eBay respectively all for varying prices. Opposed to 10s if not 100s of individuals sold for what market demanded. Also, cash deals are much easier to make in person on 1 box rather than selling a case. Much easier to find someone willing to pay in cash on a $2k box than a $12k case which when I look to sell, I will prioritize cash deals opposed to letting eBay take 13%. Another example on eBay is 1 Team up bb sold for $2665 and the same day a case sold for $11,159 which is $1859 per box.
I'm a sucker for best price point no matter what and single boxes have so far proven to be that. Now I have gotten full cases for the lowest at the time but that's when I had the extra cash saved up to commit to a case. Now there's no guarantee you will have the money saved up to buy a case when a case is at its cheapest. Could have got multiple boxes of LO for retail when you had the cash but if you waited a week or 2 to have the cash to buy a case you could have missed the boat.

From what I heard 151 was just extra stock and not a reprint so 🤷♂️. I really like the trainer eevee cards , I have a set for personal collection and maybe I’ll add another set for investing.

Loving the content dude, fantastic grind - I’m from the UK, I see a lot of ACE graded cards, Randolph’s grading company, often going a fair bit cheaper than PSA and was wondering if you think they are also worth investing in gem mint 10 in the same way PSA is worthy of investing in. Cheers!

Picked up the Galarian Moltres 5 pack tin for a steal at 14.80gbp shipped. I have the sylveon and umbreon vmax cards coming but raw not psa but cheap at only 31gbp shipped 👍 psa10 prices can be way too much i find in the UK and to ship from usa is a little too expensive
Also have some 151 japanese to sell but with the tax i paid i might only break even so if they dont sell its a bonus for my investment 😅

I’ve found it easier to just buy what I like or what I think others will like. Everyone has different opinions on every product, it all comes down to your budget and storage space too

I've finally built up a really solid lineup of booster box cases and singles. Trying to find out when the right time to sell is. Should I hold on to my Lost Origin cases, or off load them for $600-ish profit, pay myself back the initial investment, and roll the profit for longer term holds like English 151?

A lot of people hate pokemon go. It's actually not that bad of a set. I think it will do better then people think but still not the best. I would rather invest my money elsewhere
@@PokeBeardTCGthanks, I just like certain cards particularly the charizard holo and mewtwo alt art because of the augmented reality element of them with the background. I won one on mewtwo Psa 9 on bid for £26 (about $35). Also feel like it's first pokemon go set (not sure if doing another) and in 20-30 yrs, it'll be quite a historic set being the first set based on the AR mobile game.

People aren't the biggest fan of shining fates. Paldean fates is much better. I do think paradox rift is the best sleeper set of S&V.

Masterball arent going down. They had a small dip in the last few weeks but they recover at 100% and now, the trend is beginning to go up
Pikachu was 523 in a psa10 March 23rd, last sold 343 with no spike up . Raw pikachu is also still trending down with sales below $200 now. Same exact with gengar and almost every other masterball. Where are you getting your data from?
Thats the big cards, OK. But all the rest. Im a huge buyer of masterballs and i know the day by day price. Following this, crazy.

Check all of them. Examine the last 2-3 months. For sure, the big dog had a drop, but there is a difference in price variation in masterballs market, big value vs medium value vs small value. Most of it, didnt really move in the last two month.

I grabbed a case of Paldea Evolved ETB's 3 months ago for $25 a box. 9 packs of the best SV set plus the best promo in years. I'm not huge on SV era yet, but I can acknowledge it's the best era as far as early set quality and variety that we've ever had. XY, Sun and Moon and Sword and Shield early sets don't compare whatsoever.
