I probably wont play this right now but I would probably go for red(controlled) yufie and cait sith. I freaking for their animations and red+cait got some really awesome looking atks together. I also cover a lot of ground with with them with red as the brawler, yufie as elemental applier and cait sith as the support and possibly spell caster

I love to play as Yuffie but it took so long to make her viable since the earliest good weapon you get for her is Chapter 9. The other weapons aside of her Starting weapon come with so limited Materia Slots that make her almost useless.
My favorite set up so far is cloud , Barrett, and aerith

I really underestimated the elemental magic abilities in the folio. They are amazing. I think getting all 4 of them ASAP especially on the characters with Chain Attack as the special effect is a good idea. Lets you pressure 2 enemies at once for no MP? Yes please.

Anybody else unlock synergy abilities and they don't show up in the shortcuts? I've unlocked them in the folio but I can't actually use them for some characters , but other characters they show up fine...
Do you have 1 or 2 atb charges when you open the battle commands to use your synergy
Yah. It was worse than that. I was just being a dunce and wasn't paying attention to who was in my party, so obviously synergy skills/abilities aren't available when the party members that they synergize with aren't actively in the party.@@OlDirtyBandit
@@plekazungaunless you’re down to one conscious party member, then you can use synergy abilities with those not in your active party via the backline command function

Best tip is to ignore the purple nodes. They're weak element based attacks that do nothing and waste ATB. Early in the game they're okay because you don't have many materia but late game respec to get get rid of them and put the points elsewhere. Orange are combat related whether it's an attack or defensive option they're good to grab. Blue nodes are passive buffs or effects like more HP or increase ATB charge. Good to grab depending on your build.
Purple nodes have a bit more reason to use them. Despite being weak attacks, they don't cost mana and can be used as free elemental pressure. After staggering the enemy is when you want to use mana to deal real damage. And having those nodes also turns magic from materia into more powerful alpha variants.
I have to disagree with this. the purple nodes are very good in creating pressure and building stagger, being able to do this without costing any mana is valuable. But u dijt have to take all of them, as long as ur party line up covers most of them should be enough

Hard mode will make the purples super valuable
@@jembozaba4864 I haven't tested it yet for elemental auto-attacks, but the α only applies to the spells and not the materia itself

Is there enough SP that you'll eventually learn everything?
If it works the same way it did in remake then there will be books that give you SP that are only available in hard mode so if you want to unlock everything in the folios you'll need to do hard mode
@@dinopower901 That's fine. As long as it's enough to max everything in the end. I'd rather be able to eventually get everything than to have to plan out what I'm not going to take for each character.

Its annoying how hard it is to get a lvl 3 limit break i got 80 hours and im yet to use a lvl 3 limit break...
It's more for post game or Hard mode, there is alot of accessories and builds that help speed up the process big time.
Red not that interesting?? I play mostly him no one is melting enemies and stager them like him lol so strong
He literally says not that interesting unless you are playing as him. Which you are so of course your finding them good.
Pls ur just a red fanboy if we leave the broken spell with genji gloves huge dmg… just use ability best melting and stagger is tifa without no doubt.

@@norzza ya i know that but some people do want to avoid the trailers to get a very blind experience. I mean i played the og ff7 so i know that character is going to come but just in case for other people. Also the trailers kinda do spoils a bit.

@@SaucedUpStinkyGrandpa tbh youre way too nitpicky. The Game is 20+ Years old so most ppl already know about the Characters. Red was already in Remake as a Party Member (not playable though) and Yuffie got his own DLC so it was obvious both will be playable in Rebirth. Only "New" Character is Cait Sith which is obvious if you know the OG FF7. Also Thumbnail said "FOR EVERY" Party Member.
