I had a friend in the 70s who traveled all over Europe on a Honda 90 - basically the same machine. Those things went on for ever.

great video. Thanks, me and my dad rebuild one when I was 12, we rebuilt the engine in my bedroom during rainy season. it was earlier 50 CC engine, one with timing rod.

That is a fantastic restoration of an iconic motorcycle , my dad had a Honda C50 which he handed down to me , and then later l got a C70. Brilliant commuter bikes 👍

Love it, at last some do-at-home restorers without all the fancy equipment and re-using as much as possible.
I'm really interested in what you had to replace because it was just too worn or rusty and what the total costs were eventually.
Currently working on an SL70 project, also just grinded it to bare metal and clearcoating it, respraying the fenders and tank myself.

What a fantastic job. They have done all of this many times. I've owned one of these bikes and this is a great job with simple at home tools. I bet they have tons of spare donor bikes .

Great restoration! I have been riding my entire life. My 1st motorcycle was a 1965 Honda 55. It looked very similar to that, except it was reddish/orange. My dad traded a shotgun for it. I have owned very few motorcycles from other manufacturers. My current dirt bike is a Honda CR and my street bike is a CBR. There's just something about owning a Honda...fun and reliable.
Honda bikes are no doubt very good. If only they could just put the blinker and horn switch at their right place.
