PACRX3 RUNS BACK-TO-BACK 8S AT BRISBANE JAMBOREE

After losing count of how many 9.0 passes he'd made, Troy Dumbrell and his crew were wrapped with running their first 8-second pass on Saturday at Brisbane Jamboree and qualifying 5th in a 17 car field 🥳
Kicking the morning off with a solid 8.95@153 had everyone in high spirits for what was to come from this beast of a car and Troy didn't waste any time turning the car around to back it up with a flying 8.81@154 - so quick we missed filming the launch 🤦‍♂️😆
Heading into eliminations on Sunday in Modified Compact, spirits were high with the car running strong and Troy's reaction times improving throughout the weekend. With an 8.75 dial-in and a decent launch and chase down on the turbocharged Falcon in the opposite lane, unfortunately, Troy missed out on the win by 3 tenth’s of a second 😢
While Troy wasn't able to continue racing it's certainly didn't fase the team as they had an absolute ball and had achieved what they set out to do - run an 8-second pass and do plenty of cruising around the Goldcoast 👌
