I found your video helpful! Thank you! My daughter spilled a chai on her laptop that was in her backpack. She thought there was no damage and used the laptop for a few hours--no problems. When she went to charge it up--it wouldn't charge. Do you think she may have damaged the battery or the charge port part? I know you can't know for sure but I would love your advice. thanks!!
Hey!, I just had the exact same scenario! I spilled liquid on my mac and it immediately shut down, I opened it and thought it was all right, later when I attempted to charge it, it doesn’t charge.
Hopefully you got it fixed! please let me know if it needed a complete repair.

I'm right now trying to get a M1 macbook back from the dead after a liquid spill.
Got the corrosion removed with isopropyl alcohol up to the point it would start, but some things are weird still.
The fan would blow at 100% all the time and the battery doesn't show how much it charged, even tho it would stay on with the charger unpluged (once the mac is started).
Should I change the battery? Where is the charge detector located? On the mainboard or on the daugther board between the battery and the main board?

How has been your day? Fine am sure. Thanks for being there for many people. Well, I need help with an old hard drive (IDE) that I have. The hard drive was formatted but I need the data in that hard drive. Besides, when I connect it to my laptop as an external with an adapter it doesn't show up. Perhaps, the hard drive is not spinning enough. Any hope? What can I do?

Good day, I am fine thank you for asking. The external adapter may not be spinning as IDE usually have jumpers (see your pcb for what they are) and may not detect or spin up. Otherwise there is usually a problem with the drive
Sir! I have an MacBook pro 2016 touch bar versions. It won't turn on today morning when i plugged it. I noticed some liquid on my laptop key board and track padd (little bit)!. before the few days ago touch bar won't loght up. that day i saw some liquid on touch bar too. so now, When i plugged there's nothing shows up in display!.even battery logo. Good day. Thanks for watching! Liquid can corrode around compoentns or impact areas very difficult to see with the eye. Most likely there is a short on the logic board and it needs to be repaired.
