If you've ever driven a boat large enough to have 3 or 4 motors, you can't see over the bow until you're on plane usually 30 to 40 mph. On the flip side, if you hit a coconut at idle it makes a huge thunk, I can't imagine how loud it would be hitting a person

If this girl got hit by the boat, it would have most likely hit her on the head and killed her instantly, or knocked her unconscious after-which she would have drowned.
