Should Trail Cameras be Banned on Public Land?

There has been a lot of controversy on whether trail cams should be legal on public land. I try to look at both sides of the coin and give my opinion on the matter.

in my case trail cameras save deer. i find the ONE deer i want on my camera. once i know he is there i will not settle for anything less, even if it means i eat tag soup at the end of season. i have passed on some nice ones this year due to knowing there is a better one around.

I'm not against trail cameras. However, cell cameras are a different animal--not a fan. Real time photos to me is not fair chase.

It shouldn’t be legal to leave personal property (stands/cameras/tents)on state/federal or any public property.

If I'm not mistaken the supreme court has decided that taking photos and video on public land is a constitutionally protected right.

I know Idaho doesn't allow you to video for commercial purposes.
