    FAQ:
Q: Can I send you a deck to check out?
A: Only patrons can send me decks and expect a reply, because I get too many of these requests to manage. Consider joining the discord (links above) and posting your decks in the #decks channel for community feedback.
Q: Why didn’t you play this certain card I would play?
A: Because I don’t think it is as good as every other card in the deck.
Q: Why did you make that play at time stamp XX:XX?
A: I usually talk through my plays, so watch again and see if I mention it (I often do, sometimes during the turn after the play to keep the video moving). If I don’t mention it at all, I may have missed it. I miss plays several times a day, and so do other players.
Q: How can I support the channel?
A: Watching the videos IS supporting the channel. There are many options above if you have extra money and would like to help more. I appreciate it, I have a lot of bills and life stuff to manage, but it is not required. Take care of yourself first, watch the videos, then give other financial support if you really want to.
Q: Will you play janky deck xyz?
A: My mission is to show people decks that they can play often, win games with, and feel successful with. I don’t enjoy decks that strive to achieve an interaction but rarely win (aka, janky decks). There are many successful jank players on CZcams, and you should check out their channels. I am competitive, I like winning, and I like helping others win and feel successful. That is why you won’t see janky combo decks on the channel very often.
Q: Do you show all your games, or do you edit out your losses?
A: I don’t show all my games. The video is usually the best moments of between one and three hours of recording. I remove games for a number of reasons, both wins and losses. Some games are slow, some aren’t competitive because of lands, some are the same matchup over and over. More losses get cut out than wins because winning is more fun for me, which makes for better content for most viewers. It can be disappointing for those who want to see me lose (yes, people watch just to see me lose, I see you!).
Q: If you edit out some of your losses, how do I know if a deck is good and worth crafting?
A: If you watch the entire video, I always give my honest opinion about the deck at the end. As always, you are welcome to draw your own conclusions. My goal is to show off a variety of decks that can get a player with skill and conviction into Mythic, and I want them to have fun doing it. I almost never show a video of a deck that I don’t believe in, and if I don’t like a deck after playing it, I guarantee you will know about it if you watch the whole video and listen to what I have to say.

With a limited cardpool where probably 60% of the cards are unplayable vs the other 40%, and that cards rotate out, netdecking will always be a thing. Because naturally a lot of people will make decks very similar to net decks.

How arrogant are the people who need to be the one to create a deck.
The deck was created by research and development, the hidden inside a bunch trash and draft filler.

The Scrys from Season of growth and occasional card-draw from the adventures helped me find any potential answers to my opponent's threats while also being able to keep pressure on my opponent with my weenies.

As long as anyone doesn't netdeck and claim to be the creator I'm fine. I think it's great what you do to promote the creator of the deck, because creating a good deck from scratch is hard! It takes a lot of analyzing the meta, playtesting, failing, rebuilding etc, it takes weeks. I'm not sure I've done it ever lately. The most common is that I see a deck that looks fun to play, i'll import it and tweak it to my "taste" and if I like it I'll keep it. The closest to create my own deck is when I first saw my opponent do the Eidolon+deadweight trick, that inspired me to do a monoblack Lurrus deck.

Have you ever considered making a deck with Teferi's Tutelage; Teferi's Ageless Insight; Rielle, The Everwise; and Channeling Force? If you have the first three cards on the battlefield and play channeling force, you can discard any number of cards, for example, 12, and in total you will draw 48 cards and the opponent will mill 96. So with a card that gives you no maximum hand size then you can have card drawing filler in the deck and build up until you can mill their entire deck in one turn

At 6:10, CGB was addressing the topic of net decking. I feel if anyone who builds a deck and then posts it, it then becomes the property of all of those who read/access it and the content creator. For those who complain about it, don't post what you come up with. It's that simple.
If credit is given to the person building it, that's all well and good.
Sometimes it's others' ideas that give insight and better strategies to others of any level of play.

I spend days at a time brewing one deck for standard... BO1, or BO3, don't matter. Though standard is the healthiest it's been for nearly 2 years and is really fun to brew in/there's a variety of decks, it's tough coming up with something new every day like people think CGB could/ought to do.

Ok ok you may net deck, kind of amusing to see you try to apply control strategy to an aggro deck sometimes (spoken with fondness, you have broadened my grasp of strategy and made me a better player over the last couple hundred videos). If i may offer a suggestion, knowing full well those are often disregarded, it would be neat to see an original deck periodically, perhaps like a day of the week you do your own material, another day for jank for fun, another day could be invested in fan decks- a follow up to deck doctor segment where you take one of our own favorites make it better and possibly even climb a rung. Then the rest of the week can be net decks or whatever. It is commendable that you always offer credit to your source. I am sure I will continue watching and supporting regardless but the fan deck idea sounds like fun... deck doctored. Thank you for all you do, i am addicted to the play by play real time strategy insights even if there are misplays on occasion it just makes you more identifiable to the rest of us misplayers.

I don’t mind net decks, most people use them, and I found out you can copy and still lose, I like seeing how you play!

The netdecking issues seems moot here. Frankly, I'm a fan of watching you because it lets me experience all of the different deck builds without having to build them myself. I'm able to better read the meta because you're not afraid of looking at the popular net decks, so just keep doing it. It's helpful!

CGB! I love the netdecking. You're the only mtg content creator I watch so I when you teach me about the latest league winning deck and show off how to use it it's great!

Isn't is better to look at net decks as archetypes in certain colours given a certain meta? I like what you do with decks, and showing varieties possible!

skyclave is meta-shaping, but not in a bad way. any white deck wants to be able to be play skyclave on 3 or 4 so you need 2 sources by then. This deck is really good with winota instead of inkeeper for your draw mechanics. you need GWWR on turn 4 and that isnt unrealistic with 2 pathways that crossover in naya. I skewed my winota deck GR, but it really needs to be GW winota red splash, esp since its a 4 drop.

The only reason I have a problem with net decking, is that it creates a meta that's easy to predict. I remember playing early on when I had no idea what to expect from an opponent, in person. When you see an opponent play a land and you can probably guess what they're playing, kind of takes the magic out of the thing. I know that's what Bo3 is for but still.

Not sure why you didn't shepherd your questing at 38:51 --- it still gets rid of the savior, denies their lifegain, saves your questing beast, and leaves 2 mana open to tap or get counters with ooze.

I am mythic thanks to CGB, not by copying decks (I play combo decks not control decks or aggro), but by improving my way of playing the game, you know, thinking is the key and knowing the cards is an other ^^' You can have a very nice deck if you don't play well you won't go far and you have to admit that every deck has many counter-decks so don't expect to win every game that is also a win con.

Did the opponent in the last match miss lethal? Ordering first strike to kill the beast, and then eating it from the graveyard with the unblocked ooze before the normal damage phase?

I know that you know it already, but people who complain about content creators netdecking are people who don't usually engage their brains before posting. Also, they are usually the individuals who think they could do better than (insert names here), but who will never even try to actually *do* anything. And, finally, when this criticism is leveled against you it's because they obviously don't pay attention to your videos: you're always tweaking little things here and there, and the explanations during the games are invaluable. So, in conclusion - thanks for your hard work!
